  1. You won't wash off the paint just by dipping it in warm water... That should soften up the joints a bit, and you should be able to pull the pegs out. If you're not going to be playing hard with the figure, Super glue will work fine to reattach the pegs...

Now you can see why she's crying...

Thanks Antacost! Will try that out later and hopefully wipe the tear from Kabuki.

  2. I recently got a Kabuki Minimate, but her leg joints were so stiff that when i tried moving them, the pegs broke off. :(

I'm not too fazed though as I'm sure I can fix this with super glue.

Any other suggestions on how to fix this? I was thinking of dipping the broken legs in warm water to loosen the pegs, but then again, that might wash off the color.

Another idea is to get another pair of legs and paint it in the same style as Kabuki's (fortunately, the design on her legs are not complicted).

  3. I'm hoping to see the classic Black Spider-man/Venom costume (particularly the big white spider) instead of just a black version of Spidey's costume, but they are probably just teasing the full look for Spider-man 4. They would likely want to focus more on the character development of Gwen, Eddie, and the Sandman.

Still, that's enough to make me tap my fingers impatiently for May 2007.

  4. Guys dont want to bring a downer on the topic, but have ya's ever wondered what will happen to your stuff once your no longer on this green earth? Just my thoughts ya know, want to hear once's responses :P

    cheers,

    Totalus

I'd hand it down to my kids, if I had any. If not, I would have my collection sold, and donate the proceeds to a charity that saves the whales/rainforest. :)

  5. Sure

    Here we go

Hemish, that is one amazing stikfas collection.

Great collection, everyone! Living in the Philippines, we don't get a lot of minimates at all. This is more of a Marvel Legends country. The lack of minimates supply usually jacks up the price too. So I'm happy to see other people in the world have such beautiful collections. :)

  6. Hi All!

my name's Ken and I've been a minimate collector for almost a year now. There aren't many minimates from where I hail from, though. Nonetheless, I continue to adore the cuteness and attitude factor of the minimates and use them for picfics such as:

I'm definitely glad to have found a community who share this cute obsession! :D
