I just don't like the push of replacing flagships with younger and younger characters. It's forced and it reeks of the MCU dripping into comics to find replacements. Don't get me wrong I like the MCU but it's becoming detrimental to comics with people crying to change and replace characters who don't even buy comics or go see movies 3+ times like some of us do. 

The idea of these younger and younger genius kids is getting ridiculous too. Cho? Moon girl? Iron Heart? What made smart characters like Reed, and Parker cool to me is that they worked for their intelligence and were relatable. Peter had to go to high school and was ostracized much like What happens in real life. Now we have "oh this 10-16 year old totally already has all these degrees and is super smart!" There's no build up, no way to relate, or no work for it. It's cool that they're trying to have cool role models and show being smart is cool I guess? And Sure there are rare cases that happen and Cho fits into that stereotype of Asian kid prodigy but it now we have like 3 kids that seem to just be carbon copies of that in my eyes lol and the background just seems like a way to force them into the flagship roles (for iron heart and cho hulk at least) Once again with Peter it always had that awesome dichotomy of his intelligence Vs. how often he was actually able to even get to class or study. I don't know maybe it'll get there since spidey has had a long time to develop but that's just why I don't like it. New Thor, Miles, and Sam are organic while these are just forced. 

I'm glad im not the only one... didn't wanna be a "whiner". I guess I just expected a bit more to soften the blow of these :/ with this and silk chase this whole wave is a shaping up to be a disappointment

i was looking forward to new tooling since these are already more expensive than 2 packs. Now they just look Like part of the costume/suit as opposed to actual prosthetics. Bleh.

Eh. He's my FAVORITE marvel character but even I don't want him to replace Pete. Maybe for A movie. WAYYYY later on in Holland's career as spidey. And even then maybe not for a whole movie assuming they ever do the clone saga which I really doubt. 

I wholeheartedly agree with Valo's post. It seems like Marvel is trying way too hard to appease people who don't even buy comics or pump money into the companies. I'd love to see Miles for sure, why not but not at the expense of Peter. I don't even want my favorite character at the expense of Peter.

I definitely agree with what you're saying, bud. Like I just want jock Flash, and I really don't get the casting of the other Ganke lol. I think the high school thing would be ok if Flash was an actual jock so we could get that cool arc. I'm just super scared we're gonna get 3 high school movies then they'll kill off peter even though we've got a great actor for him in my opinion. I want this Pete series to last like a decade lol.

The Scarlet Spider is my favorite Marvel Character. (Surprise!)

It was the first step into my mini-addiction and I have no regrets. An update would be cool but honestly I think it holds up pretty well. It'll be weird to see how he looks next to the upcoming Kaine I'm super excited as well!

My school was collecting toys for tots and I put some mates in their! Rep-ing the brand for a good cause! ?

I really liked the trailer and I'm glad we're getting a new Iron Man as well! I hope the shoulders on this one aren't as bad. The SDCC Ultron box set was the best iron man imo.

I'll probably just play this at a friend's place till the ultimate edition comes out. I hate buying dlc piece by piece and it's usually more expensive that way as well. I also second polarboy's nervousness. I don't really need any more MCU mates that aren't army builders. Put a hydra solider in there though and I'm down. A new iron monger would be cool though and help people have access to him. Last time I checked the secondary market hasn't been kind to people who want him. (Then again it's not kind to practically any mates. Like come on menagerie $10 for an army builder?)

Allow me to attempt to revive this thread. 

Im looking to get into collecting a few statues and would prefer a line of them. I like staying with the same brand/artist for similar style. I'm mainly a spider verse type guy ? Pete, Ben, Kaine, Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Green Goblin, but also dig Wolverine and his rogues gallery. 

If anyone has anything in mind I'd greatly appreciate it!
