  1. Why were some of the more obvious choices for waves 12 and 13 overlooked? Colossus would have looked far more impressive with a chest piece similar to Beast's. Wolverine would have looked awesome in a mask. DOFP Wolverine would have looked better sporting a New X-Men Wolverine jacket. Ronin would have been suited with at least a couple sticks to rub together. I realize these lines were more spur of the moment to get a product out, but when the delays hit, couldn't that time have been used to fine-tune the figures?

DSTChuck: Isn't that part of the fun in being a collector you get to second guess this stuff and look over it??

Yeah, anyone else find this as just low? So the fun is getting to guess why we're being screwed over? Some fun...

I think I pissed him off with a couple of my questions. Like when he told me I could just call Wave 14 the "X-Men 3 Wave 1".

Pity I didn't ask what the deal was with all the legs snapping, etc.

Please... how can you possibly piss him off with that? You're the customer, he's supposed to make you 'happy'. If there was a problem with lack of accessories he should've explained you.

  2. I use these things, they were designed to hold some little football figures, sadly not available anymore. All the mates are just blu-takked into place. Prior to these stands I used two pack boxes to achieve the same effect.

You're da god (wish there was a "god" smiley here :P ) Nice White Phoenix ^_^

I'll post mine too (where's the "post your collection" topic btw? )

    Clickey (I'm lazy lol)

Ady might laugh at my collection :D I put the disc below the Ult.X-Men... they cause a nice effect B)

  3. Those are pretty neat drgnbrn... what do you use to not paint over unwanted parts?

Truth be told, patience. I tried using tape once, but I think I picked a poor quality tape, because the paint managed to work its way under the tape. So, until I find a better product, I've just been using a small brush and a steady hand.

I'm glad everyone's digging the figures, but I'm a little disappointed that no one's commented on my updated Iron Spidey. I worked hard on sculpting his arms and fashioning them so that they are removeable.

Well... I think you coud use masking film, that's effective, at least, it worked with me.
