In regards to the second Avengers wave, DST said this on Facebook. I'm thinking the last two-pack might include Klaw and maybe a second Hydra soldier. War Machine, perhaps? Or, who knows, there may even be another character set to appear in the movie that we don't even know about, hence the secrecy.

MacFarlane is releasing an RV that should be close to perfect scale for Minimates. Here's a photo:

The prison catwalk and cells look to be in about the right scale too. And the Woodbury Attack Truck looks close enough to Abraham's truck from the comics, as well as fitting in scale with Minimates.

The TRU pack is showing in-stock on TRU.com again.

But unfortunately, for us non-Americans, the Valiant set will not ship outside of the USA. BOOOOOOO!!! If anybody can help me out with these (and Marvel wave 19) it would be greatly appreciated. Send me a PM.

I know how it feels... I don't see why TRU don't stock Minimates internationally, since there seems to be a demand for them.

Can anyone tell what the difference is in those Visions? They appear to be the same color, but possibly the one closer the Hydra troop is translucent?

It looks like ones translucent. I'm hoping when we get better pictures that there will be a bigger difference between them.

If it is another Ultron, I'd think it would be broken one (Mark 1?) from the start of the trailer. Or I'd like to see a movie Bruce Banner. However, I don't see why either of those characters couldn't be shown at a toy fair. There might be some characters yet to be revealed that are being made into Minimates, like Andy Serkis' character.

The Nightmare Before Christmas figures turned out much better than I was expecting. I'm suprised how well they translate into Minimate form!

So... the AOU-2 minimates that are shown literally can't be all there is to that wave. There's only enough for 2 two packs there: Vision/Hydra and Hulk/Hulkbuster. Is Thor/Cap and Iron Man/Widow getting reissued in that wave or is there something Zach isn't showing even to the retailers?

And on a Not-Minimates note, the Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo toys look goddamn amazing and I'm sorely tempted to get so many of them that I can build a little Smash Bros somewhere in my house.

We're pretty confident in the line, based on the positive reaction so far. And the show's massive viewership. And the lack of any other collectibles for it. I don't think we would have gone after the license if we thought it would only sell to Minimates collectors for parts. Especially since that doesn't even make sense. Do people need suit parts?

I do not think that this will in any way affect DC Collectibles' desire to license Minimates. But this is our first MInimates license directly with Warner Bros. So it's certainly a big leap for MInimates, which can only lead to good things.

Is it too early to ask for a rough release date? Will it be this year?

I'm hoping this liscence will at least lead to the Arrow and Flash TV shows. I think hoping for comic waves at this point is wishful thinking, but we'll see.

What are your thoughts? I'm worried it'll be filled with lots of civillian characters- but overall, very excited for these, and the Selects! Hopefully from this we'll be able to get some Arrow and Flash figures.

Here the hospitals themselves are free, bust most doctors are cunts and ask for 'a bit extra', which is essentially a bribe. We call it "the envelope". If you're that "lucky" and end up with one of these docs and don't want to pay, you died, simple as that.

A few years ago my dad's bile was damaged and it got into his system. They kept him in the bed for 5 days saying that were we not to give them the cash, he'd die. Eventually, my mother "broke" the life insurance they had, we took some money from my grandparents and all that and we gave them 10.000 . The next day, a spot on the survey schedule had magically became free.

Thankfully all went well and my dad's as good as new now, but these doctors sure are cunts. Hell, I was in the hospital for two weeks this Christmas and they decided to give me spinal puncture, even though it wasn't needed. Instead of the head doctor doing it, they had an intern try. She ended up doing it 15 TIMES, 15 injections to my spine with no an anaesthetic , in order to get it right.

Anyway, hospitals and me don't have the best relationship, but I want to thank everyone who has gotten word out or helped this kitty in any way.

Man, that must really suck. When I was younger, I suffered from severe excema (a skin disease). I was on lots of medication, check-ups, ect. It would've cost my family hundreds, but we recieved it for free under the NHS and tax.

I'm just curious, (please don't take this the wrong way) but is there no free healthcare in the states? In Britain we have everything covered by taxes.

Damn. Now I really want GTA Minimates. I think of all the games, GTA V has the better characters. With the three main characters, secondary characters and villains, now I think about it number five might actually make a nice wave.

But then again, it's GTA. Toys R Us would never sell them, and I don't think a comic book shop is the right place to sell them either. Another GameStop exclusive?

Personally, I'd like to see Peter as a high school student for a couple years. The revelation that Spider-MAN was actually a kid was always fun to me.

You'd like to see Peter as a high school student for a couple years? Like the last couple years already? I'd much rather we see a seasoned Spider-man than another origin. This franchise will not survive a third origins story.

I'd also like to see a different take on Spider Man. Sony have said it's going to be Peter Parker (I think), but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be the awkward, youthful teen we've seen before.

Here’s all I want to know:-Can we get JK Simmons back as JJ?! He goddamned defined the character and would be amazing in the MCU, could you imagine a scene where he tries to interview Stark!-Can it NOT be an origin story?! We get it, radioactive spider bite, dead uncle, great responsibility, blah blah... just start with him as Spider-man and gets to the good stuff? Maybe play Weird Al’s “Ode to the Superhero” to catch anyone who’s too slow up to speed-Who’s gonna play Peter?! It has to be someone who can act against Robert Downey Jr and not be destroyed by him... I’m gonna say: Jay Baruchel! Okay, first ideas been tossed out, someone top that!

I agree. I don't really want an origin story movie again. Perhaps when the stand-alone movie is released, it could be like a Lost episode where there are flashbacks to explain their past, but it's not overdone because the audience pretty much knows everything about the character.

I think they should maybe wait until all the shows have been released, and just put them all into one wave.

The TRU waves are even harder to get here in the UK. The British TRUs don't even stock Minimates and it's pretty difficult to find them for a decent price online. Lukes is probably the easiest place, but international shipping is a bit of a nuisance.

It's been a great year for Minimates- lots of good competition.

Kirkman has stated The Walking Dead wont end until his kids have been through college.

But really, it's got legs for a long time yet...

I read in an interview that Kirkman would ideally like the comics to run for around 400 issues. We're on, what, issue 135 now? With 12 issues a year, it's going to be a very long time before it ends.

Still haven't finished mine, I guess I'd better hurry up since Januarys almost over....

Now why would they end a show that's so successful?

It's not like the actors can't be written off if they become too expensive. That's the best part of a show about zombies; the expendable (IE - affordable) cast.

Yeah, plus the actors are underpaid. Well, I say underpaid but they get around $90,000 an episode- compared to other TV Shows, though, that's nothing.
