  1. Even though the Portal and Doctor Who sets are supposedly £25 each. (Which I think is around $40? Although in the UK Lego rips us off, so it'll probably be closer to $30.)

  2. First off, if there's already a post for this I appologise.

The Civil War comic storyline was one of the first I ever read, and even today it is one of my favourites. So naturally when the third Captain America movie was announced to be centered around Civil War I was very, very excited.

And then the cast was announced... I mean, pretty much everybody but Hulk and Thor are in it (excluding Guardians characters). Even General Ross is in it!

I do have a couple of questions, though. Like how the wars actually going to start, since no one seems to have a secret identity in the MCU. And again on the topic of starting wars, just how Tony and Steve will fall out, as they left on pretty good terms in Age of Ultron.

Anyway, I just thought I'd start this thread as a general discussion page.

Edit: this webpage has the full cast list, as well as a short summary of who's doing what- http://moviepilot.com/posts/2015/05/11/captain-america-civil-war-analyzing-the-cast-list-more-2925736?lt_source=external,manual

  3. Yeah I've seen all of them. And I've read the entire run of Incredible Hulk. And it doesn't really seem that way by a lot of the stuff I'm reading online, you would think people are expecting refunds because he wasn't grey. Not exclusive to this site, sorry if I didn't make that clear.

And little cosmetic details like that I don't think they care about being 100% faithful to. When Iron Man had the Silver Centurion armor in Iron Man 2 I don't think they were thinking about how faithful the adaptation would be to the comics. I doubt there were conversations about adapting the specifics of the armor to the screen. I bet they just thought "hey, let's make a red and silver armor" as a nod to the comics and it went no further than that. Why would a Grey Hulk be any different?

Fair enough, I guess I was somewhat influenced by a story I read where they held back a really great Hulk scene that they wouldn't reveal, with the idea being that they would use it in the future. I keep hoping that they have plans for Hulk in a more features role, and thought maybe that was why they made that decision.
I think it might have been Hulk "calming down" after Scarlet's spell. When he was under her influence, he was full rage-mode (not in control, killing innocent people rage-mode) and that sort of murky-green *gray* colour. Although after Tony freed him from the spell, he turned a more green colour, and this is noticeable as you can actually see him change colour. It's like when he turns from Banner to Hulk, he has that phase between green and flesh colour. It's hard to explain, sorry.

And it's one of those things you only notice after watching for the second time, as it is subtle but once you see it you'll realise.

Replace the promo with Vision and that's essentially the plot of Age of Ultron.
  5. I could be wrong but I could have sworn they even showed the gray version in a trailer for a split second, I wonder how last minute this decision was made.

It's possible, given that there is going to be (Or is) a Gray Funko Pop Hulk from AoU. It's a shame to me, Gray Hulk is my favorite version but I can kind of get why they wouldn't do it. Casual fans know Green Hulk and that's it.

When Hulk is under Scarlet Witch's spell, he is definatly a different colour. I've seen the movie twice now, and it's quite noticeable. Its not quite grey, but it's something.

  6. I know this was discussed somewhat in another thread already, but after seeing the movie the Hulk and Vision variants we're getting wouldn't have even occurred to me as options. Maybe the early info DST had suggested different but the differences on screen seem to be minimal if they exist at all.

Yeah, all the Hulk needed was an alt. head and the second Vision wasn't needed at all.

  7. Luke, are you not selling wave 61?

Ah you missed it. Basically everything went to hell with his order of 61. He could barely fulfill the people who preordered. So no, he's not actually selling 61 now. He sold out.

Yeah, I had heard bits about it but wasn't sure on the whole story. Shame.
  8. can we just direct rage at how incompetent disey/marvel is for this terrible stuttered released? France and such ahead. get it ahead like almost 2 weeks

We get it the 23rd here in the UK. Not entirely sure how Marvel decides where to release things first. It used to be America would get things first, then the rest of the world.

  9. This isn't so good for international collectors, but hey, more 'mates can never be too bad!

I have a Walgreens right next to my office downtown and three within 5 miles of my house. I will help those outside the USA if I can.

Scratch that... I have ten stores within 5 miles of my home...

If you can, that'd be great thanks. It's always nice to see people helping each other out on this board.

It might be that Age of Ultron boxset Zach mentioned. It would sell well at a mass market and has a higher price point.
