First of all not sure if this belongs in an already created thread. If it does, my bad.

Potential spoiler (kind of). Personally, I'm pretty happy about it. I guess it'll definitely make it seem like it's actually part of the MCU, kind of like having The Other in Guardians of the Galaxy.

So I've almost caught up on the comics, and there's definatly some characters I want. For the first time ever I think, I acrually want a new Rick. Manga's group is also at the top of my wish list, as well as Aaron, Eric and Heath.
-
I loved the GCPD Evidence room. Lots of Easter eggs to both the previous Arkham games and DC in general. Also, anyone else had the Manbat encounter? After the first time you see him, where do you go next?
-
I think I'm pretty happy with Tom Holland being chosen, I think he can pull off the inexperienced and potentially naive Spiderman that Marvel are going for.

I'm only a few hours into this game and it's already the best game of the year for me. All my worries turned out to be for nothing, the graphics are outstanding, combat is as usual fantastic and the Batmobile is tons of fun. The story has me intrigued and I'm itching to find out the identity of the Arkham Knight. I don't want to get all spoilery but I'm very pleased that a certain someone is back.

This is one (or two, I suppose) of the reasons I love Minimates. Living in England I have to agree with the price issue but I don't think anything has gotten too outrageous. This is still an affordable hobby. And a very enjoyable one, i must add.
Oh, and welcome to the board!

Does anyone know what the piece around Bruce's neck is?

I'm really bummed that I don't have a system to play this one. I'll probably get a gaming pc next month or so because I both need a new computer since my current one is falling apart, and it's "cheaper" than a console in the long run. But with the current "climate" here, I'm not so sure about that. Either way, avoiding spoilers for a month or more is going to be a PITA.
Yeah, this game currently has a lot of unanswered spoilery questions. Who is the Arkham Knight?
-
A week to go now! I'm kind of bummed that the Red Hood DLC is a Game exclusive (or GameStop, dependent on location) since it's pretty hard to find a Game store now and their delivery rates and times have never been great.
-
Is a single-pack dump case within the realm of possibilities?
-
I think the omnibus zombie characters would make a great comic con or store exclusive set.

This has been a pretty big news story here in the UK as well, since everybody seems to be football-mad over here. (And yes, it's called football and not soccer!)
My great uncle worked for FIFA for over 25 years. He also worked as the Operations Director for Aston Villa. He resigned everything back in 2002, but he has told stories of corrupt goings on here and there.
-
A similar thing happened in the UK a while ago. Me and my dad went to see Terminator and Die Hard with a Vengenance.
-
He has on more than one occasion
Links? Quotes?
Muddy Dutch was from a future Predator two-packs assortment.
Ant-Man stands will be painted like the manholes, yes.
Ant-Man micro-mates are based on Puppet Master puppets.

This should so be a boxset... (issue #50)
Or one centered around the bonus ending in #75...

I'm with you on this. In fact, I wasn't even planning on getting the phasing Vision set, but if there's some interesting stickers it might warrant a pickup.Would anyone be interested in a sticker kit to accompany this set? It would only be for orders of 2 full sets or more of Series 63, similar to what we did for Series 60. I could incorporate stickers for Series 61 and the TRU exclusives as well. But these would mostly be different versions of existing characters.
Completely honest answer: While I'd be interested in stickers (especially for the two extra Iron Legions), I have no interest in buying a whole second set of a standard wave to get them.
I'm with you. My only interest is in getting stickers for the Iron Legion and Ultron drones, which I've already ordered through Luke. I understand the incentive and it's great for those who can appreciate them (I love the Deadly Foes and Series 60 stickers) but in this case, I'm not sure the other stickers would sway me.

At first this set was a pass, but with all these accessories I can't say no to it now! Will the other boxset feature similar things?Looks like samples just arrived, so I think we'll see all of the things I listed.
Also, Scott Lang comes with hair and a backpack, and Ant-Man has a base that looks like a penny. Yellowjacket's base looks like a bottlecap.
-
Macfarlane and Funko have both made zombie Pennys. Plus, there's this: http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/The_Walking_Dead_Life-Size_Statue_Teddy_Bear_GirlI think we were iffy on zombie child toys.
Zombie versions of the main characters have been seen in the omnibus cover imagery, but they are definitely not canon.
Seriously, who would have that in thier house?
-
I can't quite remember where it was from, but there was a cover for some exclusive that had the cast on an axis, one side normal and one side all as zombies.I am a fan of the " can't do a Darryl or Meryl " TV Walking Dead with a very limited knowledge of the comic version, but love the Minimate WD line. A question to throw out there; Is there any dream scene or hint ever in the comic series where a main character, who we have a mate of already, see themselves or others as zombies? (stay with me now) This could give us a great 4 (oh please 5) pack of zombie - Rick, Michonne, Carl, Lori and Glen. Kind of like "The Bonnie Situation" in Pulp Fiction which is now immortalized in Minimate glory.
Edit: the compendiums feature this sort of artwork.
-
Man that's cool. Does it fit in scale with 'mates?I have this figure and its well made. I was more concerned about it being junk than having a ton of articulation.
-
Zombie Penny is a character I never thought about, but now you've mentioned it I really want one...I really like the comics much more. First of all, the TV Show rights are with the McFarlane, Zach talked about that a couple years ago. This isn´t an option.
And I think that the comics have a lot of good characters to offer. But since the line have a chronological advance I don´t if Diamond have interesting in turning back to fill the blanks. They could´ve just prolong this "advance" a little, with more waves for each story arc now I donpt know if that´s an option. The "New Begnning" didn´t get my attention but there´s a lot of old (and not so old) characters that I would like to see in the line:
Jim from Atlanta Camp
Axel from Prison
Zombie Penny
Dale without a leg (like the Black Panther from Marvel Zombies maybe)
Eugene with mullets
Aaron
Heath
Denise
Earl the blacksmith from Hilltop (just beacuse he could be a cool loking figure, with an apron and some tools)
-
I've still not got around to playing the new one, but if it's nearly as impressive as the second one them I'm all in for some 'mates.
-
I'm not sure if Mcfarlane's building set figures prohibit 'mates based of the TV. Especially since they're avalible in blind bags and 5 packs. (I think it's 5 packs at least).
-
It could be that Glove World SpongeBob set?
Ant-Man Minimates
in Marvel Minimates

After seeing the movie yesterday (loved it!), I couldn't be more excited for these now. I think going with two four packs was definetly the right choice. There are two characters in particular I would've liked, but they were both characters that were kept under wraps.
