  1. I've read that the incident takes place in Civil War, and they reference the other events as further proof that super humans are getting out of hand.

If the leaked script is correct, the two main incidents that spark the Civil War is AOU (Hulk rampage, flying city) and a second event that is somewhat similar to the comics that will take place in Civil War.

I don't think Sont have any cut of Spidey merchandise whatsoever. The only cash they get is direct from the movies, meaning that even product licensed for the movies still goes into Marvels pocket, but I may be wrong.

I think you might be right. There isn't a Sony stamp on any merchandise.

I'm also hoping Daredevil shows up as a surprise in the final action sequence. There has to be one character from every movie that doesn't get a 'mate, and he seems ideal.

It'd be nice if they did the 'Judas' scene from the comics. It really showed how out-of-hand things had gotten. Plus, if the Daredevil actor is busy that scene would really only require one or two lines of dialogue. Plus, I read somewhere that the actor who plays him is obliged to star in a movie if asked as part of his contract.

  2. I'm guessing we will get two waves and a boxset. Can't see there being an army dump being made since, as far as we know, there's not going to be an army in the movie. Oh, and has anyone seen the potentially leaked first few pages of the script? If they're real then man is this going to be a good movie. Crossbones especially has an interesting part, as well as Ross.

Plus, based on what people have seen at D23 apparently Spiderman has two different outfits in the movie. Based on what Kevin Fiege said (I won't repeat it as it is a bit spoiler-y) this seem accurate.

Hopefully Cap, Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye are all grouped together in two packs so we won't have to buy them again since we just got them in the AOU wave. I'm ok with buying Vision again, since he's set to get a new costume. Iron Man will probably get something new but I doubt it'll be majorly different from MK 45. Based on set pictures, Cap has his AOU outfit (which I love!). Hawkeye and Black Widow have pratically worn the same things for four movies now (three for Hawkeye) so I doubt they'll get anything amazingly new. We've already seen Falcon's new suit and I'm guessing War Machine will probably get an upgrade. Not sure about Ant Man though, although it is rumoured that he's going to turn into Giant Man. Looking at the set pictures, Scarlet Witch is getting something new as well.

But overall this is probably my most anticipated MCU movie and I'm eagerly anticipating the 'mates. The Civil War comic was one of the first I ever read and it still holds up as being one of my favourites.

  3. I'm guessing the Grey Hulk figures are like all the War Machine figures we got for Iron Man 3. Characters that were originally planned for the movie, but eventually got cut out but too late that toy companies had already produced merchandise based on them. I'm pretty glad we're actually getting a movie Grey Hulk though. I think I might be one of the only ones to say this but I'm glad he wasn't in the movie. Grey Hulk is traditionally the Hulk but in control. In the particular scene that he was supposed to be featured in, he was far from in control.

  4. It's bugging me that the rampaging Hulk's pants are a different shade of purple from the regular version. Surely it's the same set, or did he swap them out because he knew he was going on a rampage? It's also interesting to see that even his hair appears to be grey.

Regular Vision's Cape looks great in the control art, hopefully it'll be as good upon release. I'm still a bit confused as to why there's two Hulks and two Visions in the same wave, I think it would've made more sense to split them up between the two waves.

A little disappointed that Klaue doesn't have a stumpy arm. The Governor didn't come with one and now Klaue. Still, he looks pretty good. I'm glad we're getting him

  5. To throw this idea out there, since the trailer for The Hateful 8 just turned up, it's a film that could be covered by two box sets. Just something to think about.

    I'm not 100% sure on this but I don't think it's a Miramax film. I hope I'm wrong,though.

I don't think this has been posted here yet, although it's been floating around for about a month. Definitely digging the Penguin and Selina. Bruce is a bit meh, the SDCC one looks better. Alfred looks nice too.

Edit: This set does look like its missing some accessories, though. Mainly Penguin's umbrella. It'd be nice if Bruce came with a book or something. Itd make me incredibly happy if he came with the early designs of what appears to be a Batcave that we saw in an early episode.

  7. For Marvel there's zero chance because the license doesn't allow it. I don't know if Chuck's said much about vehicles and larger figures for anything besides Aliens but it seems like something they stay away from unless there's a lot of demand.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. Perhaps we could get some Vinylmates of the larger Marvel characters, even though I doubt that's not allowed either.

  8. I'm not entirely sure if this is an appropriate place to ask this, but since we're getting the power loader and Alien Queen in deluxe sets, what is the chance of this happening to other liscences? I'd really like to see a deluxe Giant Man, or an official RV for Dale. Even a motorcycle for Ghost Rider would be nice.

  9. Let's all remember, regardless of your feelings on this movie, we're pretty much guaranteed to get at least two waves for Civil War, featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black "Straight outta Merchandise" Widow, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Ant-Man, Falcon, and Winter Soldier. All of whom we got in the last two years, a lot of whom are still available, and some aren't even out yet. So Deadpool seems to have a lot more newness to it by comparison.

And yes, I would obviously like to get more Comic based waves with new characters, I'm just basing this on a trend of releases.

I agree on the Civil War point. The only new character worthy of a figure I can think of is Crossbones, because my word does he look amazing.
  10. I've been wanting to start a diorama for the Walking Dead for a little while now. I've been eyeing the Macfarlane building sets, but they're quite hard to come by in the UK for a decent price and the only one I really want is Dale's RV. The prison tower looks quite nice but I think it's a little too tall to fit on my shelf. I'm asking if anyone knows any alternates. I'm not particularly looking for specific locations (prison, Alexandria, ect) but just something that would look nice for a zombie apocalypse, or as nice as you can get in that situation.

    All help is appreciated, thanks.

  11. Top 5 is a tough one, since some of the recent stuff has been so enjoyable. But this is mine:

    1) Guardians of the Galaxy

    2) The Winter Soldier

    3) Avengers 1

    4) Antman

    5) Avengers Age of Ultron

Although an honourable mentioned goes to the first Iron Man.

  12. My favourite Iron Man has got to be the Iron Man 3 Heartbreaker . Sculpt and paint is amazing and the articulation is surprisingly not-hindered. Another favourite of mine is probably the Marvel NOW black and gold one. I don't have a definite worst one, but the Mark 43 was pretty awful IMO. I wasn't a big fan of the comic Age of Ultron figure either. This probably doesn't count but I'm also a big fan of all the War Machines released so far and Iron Monger is a sight to behold.

  13. Has anyone played the GoT version of the game?

I have and it is very good. Not quite as good as the Walking Dead, but it's definetly a lot of fun. It's nice to see how it fits in with the TV show and how the characters are inter grated into the game. My only real problem was that there was only two or three choices that felt like they mattered, and only one made a huge impact on the story.
  14. I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the possibility of some 'mates based on Tell Tale's The Walking Dead characters? It's in the same universe as the comics and as far as I know the Macfarlane Clemintine sold well, and I'd love to add Kenny and Clemintine to my collection.

  15. I'm not entirely sure how to do a spoiler tag, but this is what I think is happening in the Antman after credits-

Falcon and Cap have obviously found Bucky. Cap doesn't want to tell Tony because that would mean Bucky would have to answer for the crimes he unknowingly committed. Given that Tony would never be able to fully understand, he tries to hide him. Again, Cap probably doesn't want Tony to know he's been doing this without Tony's knowledge. Falcon saying he knows a guy comes from Falcon wanting to track Scott at the end of the movie, I think. The reason being that since Falcon witnessed first hand his thieving skills, he needs Scott to reverse-steal Bucky, if that makes sense as Cap doesn't want Tony to know what he's been up to.

I hope this sort of makes sense...
