  1. We need a Blind Bag Assortment of Zombies! Throw in a Hospital Gown Rick, a Zombie Shane an and mot-yet-scarred Andrea and DST would be golden! Each Zombie could come with a few alternate pieces and you could have skin tones that match existing Zombies to truly mix-and-match parts!

    That would be great.

  2. this line is slowing down, which is scaring me...

It might seem that way, but I don't think it is. It's always been 2 comic waves a year and 2 TRU waves a year. TRU skipped a wave last year but they've had one this year and will presumably have another to go with wave 8.

  3. 1. Stop using the term "politically correct" there is still tons of legalized and institutionalized racism and sexism in this country, none of these choices are made to satisfy politics, they are made to reflect the real world, which surprise, has more than just white men in it.

The whole point of the term 'political correctness' is that it is a 'pejorative term used to criticize language, actions, or policies seen as being excessively calculated not to offend or disadvantage any particular group of people in society'. The whole point of introducing more than just white American men is to appeal to a larger audience and so Marvel can improve their overall image, just like how companies do diversity reports. I doubt they're doing it to reflect upon the real world, but then again I'm not Marvel.
  4. I guess the point is that in 20 years time (if, and it's a big if) character like Cho and Morales are around then the next generation will grow up with this more politically correct universe. Being fifteen, I'm already used to Banner and Parker so I kind of want them to stay. I'm a big fan of Morales, Cho not so much.

I agree with the point that it'd be better to just make a new character rather than replacing the older ones.

  5. Wasn't there plans to make Hunger Games Minimates before the films were released? As in figures based on the books. Perhaps we could get some GoT Minimates this way? Although I'm not sure how well a ginger Robb and a hetrochromia Tyrion would sit with fans unaware of the source material. Also, packaging wise, it would be difficult to design it as the iconic font of the Game of Thrones is off limits and the Iron Throne wouldn't be able to be featured on the box.

  6. Got my set today. Overall, very impressed. The Hulkbuster and Vision are the two standouts. The Mk 43 must be embarrassed as the Hulkbuster has better articulation than it. It's amazing how much sculpting and paint decos they can get on such a small figure whilst still maintaining good articulation. I prefer the normal Vision with the TRU 19 cape but the phasing Vision looks fantastic with the translucent one. I like Klaue and the Winter Hydra Soldier a lot more than I thought I would. Kkaue has some great tampos, namely the scorpion tattoo and facial likeness. I'm glad the Hydra Soldier has two looks and comes with two brilliant weapons. It's good to see that they're using the Walking Dead assault rifle more, it's one of the better gun pieces in my opinion. The two Hulks are great. The regular version is an improvement from the last and the chest hair wasn't too over the top, which was something I was worried about. Rampaging Hulk looks great fighting the Hulkbuster and has a really nice face.

  7. I found Banner/WM yesterday at the Glen Burnie, MD TRU. A little letdown by no extra arms for Banner, but pleasantly surprised by the extra angry head.

You could try the pale blue arms from the Officer Rick Grimes. Not 100% accurate, I suppose, but if you really want a non-lab coat version that's the best I can think of. That extra head is insanely awesome, though.

  8. I can't say that I have much interest in the show anymore, but I am very interested in knowing how these mates performed for DST. Have we heard anything about whether or not these were considered a success?

The only thing to go on is the SDCC set since neither of the box sets have been released yet. I think it'll do well enough to have the two already planned box sets released. I suppose it helps that the two Boxsets come out whilst the show is on.

  9. Since the second season is only about a month away, I think its time to start speculating about the third Boxset (if there's going to be one).

Harvey Bullock: Donal Louge nailed this character. I'm honestly surprised we didn't get him in the first set in the place of Essen. She's a neat background character, sure, but she's no Harvey. In terms of accessories I'm hoping he'll come with two different hair pieces (hat on, hat off) and maybe the burger holding hand that came with Jules from Pulp Fiction.

Fish Mooney: Honestly, I really disliked her character at first but, like the show in general, got better. She probably had the most different outfits in the show, but I'd personally prefer her season finale look with the cool hair and different coloured eyes. She could come with a gun, maybe an alternative head and hairpiece in case you don't want the season finale look.

Red Hood: One of my favourite episodes was the Red Hood gang episode. I know there were five or six of them, but I'm only interested in getting one. Preferably the first guy to wear the hood since he had a neat looking trench coat. If DST wanted the could get real interesting with the accessories for this guy. Obviously a gun and unmasked head, but I think a duffle bag and wads of money would be amazing. Lots of custom potential, plus it really suits the character and any Gotham displays in general.

I'm a little bit stuck on the last choice. Ivy would be nice and would look nice on display among all the dark coloured outfits. Jerome the might be Joker could be cool. I hope to get a Falcone and Maronni at some point. Maybe an Electrocutioner. He could come with some cool accessories.
