I'll bring that Arsenal football shirt for you
Great, I have been having some plumbing issues in my bathroom lately and could use a new rag.

Hey all,
I haven't been around the MMMV that much lately, but I will be at SDCC and am looking forward to meeting up with everyone again, and I might even be talked into meeting up for drinks at some points.

walyou.com has an article on these under fun gadgets today

It's time to justify the time I spend here while at work.
I need suggestions for a stand for a 18" figure. He has a 18" figure from Pirates of the Caribbean that won't stand up and asked me to find a stand for it.
I will post pictures in a bit, camera's batteries are dead.
Thanks

Congrats!

If I had the money and opportunity, I would personally love to add those to my collection. I could justify it in the right circumstance.
This is why have mine, the chances for me to get them came around at the exact times I got some bonuses from work.
A month in either direction and it would be have been different.

I have stuck purely to the topic ..."What would you pay..." I have little doubt that you'll get more . I have always been intrigued with the 'numbered' & 'bagged' aspect of these especially as I'm a 'packaging' nut. Do these come in sealed baggies similar to other promos? Are there 2 Gold versions because I'm confident that either in the MMDB,HQ,Central or the MMMV I've read that there are?
The numbered Gold Spideys are in sealed baggies, but the Silvery Spideys are taped shut.
Silver are taped shut with the label
Or of course there is the less uncommon "ripped to shreds"

I would think around $500 each. It seems the Gold ones come up less often, so that one might go for more. There seems to be more people collecting mates these days, so that could drive the price up too.

I met him once, he was drunk and involved in a very deep conversation about grapefruit.
What's not to like about that.
-
The PS3 is a better than a Blu-ray player of the same price range. To same quality player would be around $400-$500 more.
I am having a lot of A/V work done right now and just happened to be on the phone with the tech when I read this, so I asked him.

I'm still hovering about going but I'll need somebody to drink with
I will be in San Diego, and there is a very good chance that I will be drinking, so let me know if you are going to make it.

Hehe not me I didn't even go to Le Mesa ( I suspect that was Cloneme, he lives out that way) just Moreno & Nat city... Moreno blvd was picked over ( I blamed you and Aaron) and Nat City had nothing.
So I didn't find an IM pack in store, but thanks to the verse it looks like I have one on the way
T.
Moreno was all me. Full case up when I got there, much less left up when I left. Plus the extra bonus of being laughed at by the cashier.

I would have to say don't open it. There is nothing special about it. It's just yellow... It's the packaging that makes it. Take that away, and you might as well have just spray painted a Black Spidey yellow.
-
For the San Diego area folks, the La Mesa store had 2 Shocker packs and 1 Kraven pack left last night. You know, after I got through them.
Did you pick up anything there? That is about what they had when I was there last Friday, so I am just wondering if they re-stocked. I didn't get anything, the line wrapping around to the back wall scared me away.

Thanks Limited Edition.

Amazing work Ivan. It looks great.

Well, he could be a tad shinier,
That's a pretty big comment from someone who's mommy and daddy won't let them play with spray paint.

Here is my entry: Groo the Wanderer
I'm not sure how many people here know Groo, but he has been my favorite indie characters for many years. I have always wanted to have a minimate of him.
Source art here.
Groo has been one of my favorites for years. I was very happy to get Sergio to sign a Groo GN at SDCC last year.
I have thought of doing a custom myself, but I knew I would err somewhere on it.
Great job.

I am going to wait until they are selling them on the Charm City Cakes site. I figure if the guy is a Minimate fan, why not get them directly from him.
-
I guess it was centered in the Chino Hills area. I was driving around La Jolla at the time and didn't feel a thing.
-
I will be there.
-
I have all the variants from all the lines to date. At least one MIP and one opened.

I picked up the first couple of waves of Marvel, but they I never really got into them much. I have picked up a couple here and there when I found them cheap. When Tower was getting rid of their toys, I bought one hoping for Hobgoblin, or more importantly, his glider. But instead I got the secret Black Spider-Ham (already in someone else's collection). Even with that great luck, they just don't do much for me.
Plus after seeing walls and walls and walls of these in Japanese toy stores, I am relieved that I feel this way.

Oh, you simply must...that would be off-the-hook! Better yet, try to incorporate this into your previous plans and make it a "spagetti western theme" extravaganza!!! Drink from a dirty glass, smoke an un-cut cigarillo and liberate the oppressed!! Hell yeah; paint the town red. The quick....and the dead.
Plans have been changed and made. I will be going to see it. There will be whiskey involved, but no dirty glasses or cigarillos. But I think I will have pasta for diner.
