So really dumb question regarding these waves. What was the wave with Spider Knight? The .5 waves have me a little confused. 

Still hope for other versions of TMNT? I hope they get a crack at 80s. 

Any talks on non-Nick mates?

What even. I wasn't expecting much of anything, but this blows my mind. All are a buy for me, which is the first in a while. 

I was actually coming here to post a thread for the new movie. What if they stuck to mates from the new movie and the early Mighty Morphin'? I could see this being the way it could go down. 

Could be like the Alien Queen. Scouter Saiyan Vegeta with a fake Moon blast and the oozaru.

Don't forget androids 13,14,and 15. You could even reuse Vegetas hair for Super Android 13. Friezas ancestor Lord Chill, there so many characters in the DBZ universe they could keeping this line going for awhile.

Yeah, my bad. I'm answering in a reserved way because lines outside of Marvel tend to fall within ten waves and some boxsets. But this is hypothetical, so I'm being goofy. I do prefer the method of "Transforming characters" over separating them due to being a great way to get both.

A cool con exclusive could be SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta.

I agree with doing without certain characters, but certain movie characters and filler could be really cool. You could do a movie boxset with Transforming Garlic Jr, Janemba, Transforming Broly, Turles, and a fifth being possibly Cooler? It's tough to skim over others like Bojack.

Thank you very much! I kind of figured that 66 would be the front runner, but the statues look great. Does anyone know how to find anymore info on Action 66? Is there talk of a second DBZ line?

$25-$65 but some old figures are stupid expensive. I've seen some old school stuff from when I was a kid...2000-03 but it is going for a little more. My first DBZ toys were SS Goku and Final Form Frieza. I had no clue what SS meant, I thought it was a sailing term ☺️. They had three POA!

Ha, I absolutely love this. I used to have the Jakks Pacific figures, some Irwin, and some Bandai. I was just curious if any toy collectors here had any collections going on the current DBZ market. I would love minimates of these, obviously, or more Action 66. I adored the tiny Irwin mini figs.

On topic, I agree with Zak on critics. A more current approach would definitely be getting more for Less, such as hairpieces and alternate looks. The turtle, bubbles, saibamen. They could be snarfs. My worry for this line instantly would be that we would only get like, 4 waves tops. I wouldn't want a Tekken Jin situation. Other than that, I do think that there are some cool suggestions here and I would love it if it lasted for 10+ waves.

This is sort of off the ramp of minimates, but I didn't really know where else to ask this. To your knowledge, are there any current more affordable DBZ toys that are either the size of minimates or as affordable?

I say this because when I was younger, Walmart and the like obviously sold DBZ merch for a relatively normal price. Nowadays, places like toywiz seem to have a large selection for 40 bucks and up for decent figures. I know the American market has fallen over the years, but surely there is something. I know Action 66 was mentioned, but that's just four characters. Thank you deeply in advance.

Positive I'm not the only person who wanted to do this, but as I just got my Mirage set in the mail I had to "fix" this asap.

The Mirage heads were were super easy to separate from their bandanas, whereas the animated ones took a little prying even after they settled in boiled water.

This is fantastic. I really want 80s turtles, too. Those colors will pop so well on 'mates.

Found some in Middle TN! Got the only pack I really wanted, Spidey 2099. Haven't opened just yet. The Spidey and electro pack looks great, but Spidey's face is very off center. Also, the amount Walgreen's is getting worries me. For sure. One of each is a scary number.

I don't know anything about this story, but based on the picture, I totally would have dug Zenpool.

I actually think the character that should not have made it into this wave is Apocalypse. You could slot him into any X-Men two-pack, wave, or box set, in favor of a character who fits the theme a little more. He looks great, and I'm glad to get him, but I don't think he needed to be in this wave specifically.

You actually have my vote on this. He could have anchored an Xmen wave as villian easily, especially with the movie coming soon.

I totally love this wave. As far as Kluh goes, I don't love the character but I do love the 'mate. Hobgoblin is absolutely hilarious and I missed out on the first one. I think Falcap is a weird character, but he's also kind of awesome looking. Basically, I like them all. But. As far as two-packs go, the crazy awesome pearl-Iron man and Apocalypse is one of my favorites ever.

Can confirm that there were quite a few packs in Panama City, FL. No mutagen Donniez. My phone made me put a z, so I left it. Will the turtles get their extra weapons? Like Leo and his bow or Raph and his shreddery claws?

Variant on Bardock and Turles sounds great, but I do agree on wanting Bardock more. I just want Turles to have the fruit and his cool armor. Ultimately, if we got the armor from Vegeta and Turles, you could army build an army for frieza or whatever of sayians.

It will be great, however, to see where the new series takes Uub and everyone else. But now, doesn't this mean Pan doesn't exist?

I get where you're coming from and sort of agree to a degree. I was put off Battle of Gods for a while (partly as the back of the DVD box had the new villain, Beerus, kicking my favourite character, Gohan, in the stomach) and I'll admit there are some scenes that are cringe worthy. However I really like the designs and personalities of Beerus (he's probably my second or third favourite now) and Whis and I must say, even for being re-colours, I do like how both SSG and SSGSS look. There's something about the shades of red and blue used that feel, underused if you get my meaning? I dunno; maybe I've watched enough Hesei era Kamen Rider that I'm used to multiple form changes and they don't phase me any more.

I've not seen Resurrection F yet but the main fight in BoG is highly enjoyable, especially with how it ends. If nothing else, I'd advise looking up some of the scenes on YouTube. My only real gripe is the film pretty much relies on Goku. Unlike other "sagas" where the hero may not be Goku or the others at least do something decent (i.e. Ultimate Gohan vs Super Buu), this one purely has Beerus curb stomp everyone.

GT itself was interesting. There were a number of ideas I liked on paper (the design and concept of SS4, the overall idea of Baby and the Dark Dragons) that sadly felt like they were wasted. I'd be interested in seeing Akira incorporate some of them into DB Super and offer his own spin on them, but the news we've heard so far suggest otherwise.

I'll play in honor of GT: Being only 21 now, I actually had no idea until years later that GT wasn't "canon" and such. So with this, I'm way more fond of GT than some. With that being said, even I was pretty off put by Battle of the Gods because it sometimes feels like whenever there is another villian, a new level of SS was the way to fix it. Which, I mean, is the formula to a lot of the show. So I'm cool with it. But the SSG and SSGSS are still on my if-y list, even being a maniacal Dragon Ball/Z/GT fan.

I always thought it would be cool to have a con set of the Raditz battle, which was touched upon by your box sets, Zak. Could be:

Raditz with extra torso for special beam cannon hole.

I would also personally pick Turles over Bojack, but that's purely personal.

With the last set you'd be able to use Gotenks vest and Gohan's gi on Super Buu to recreate the absorbed looks.

I love thes choices, Zak. I feel like we would get some form of Goku as a con exclusive. A frieza final battle from Namek two pack, or Goku and Vegeta in some way. I see it having more versions of Goku, but your picks are pretty close to what I would want. Also, don't forget Piccolo has his cape for Super Buu. I would love for Vegeta to have a scouter.
