Yes. well, yeah, but that's more a wish list for the potential AFX exclusive boxset, which can be a bit more obscure because it's targeted a the Direct Market. I was thinking about the stuff that would show up at Toys R Us. It's a great list you made though. I already voted and can't wait for round 2!

I don't know about y'all, but I think the new heroes and villains sets look awesome and it's something I'd love to see continue. So, for the sake of having some fun and killing time until they start announcing more 'mates, lets speculate as to what the next set of 'Heroes and Villains' will bring us. Remember that the characters need to be big names, but they can be weird variants of those big name characters. Here's my list: Heroes- Extremis Iron Man - a less bulky modern Iron Man The Thing - Crazy mutated circa early 90s FF Spider-Man - ish...I don't know... Electro-shock Spidey? Daredevil - Just an update, nothing fancy Villains- Dr. Octopus - in his debonair white suit Super-Skrull - an Update Bullseye - Update Crimson Dynamo - you know, just a quick rejigger of some Iron Man parts, a little red paint and blammo! Thoughts?

Actually, that was one the first things we said... We disregarded it because not only would the odds be horrible, but DST just wouldn't do that... Oh. I guess I didn't see it when I read the thread, it musta gotten lost in all the Champions hullabaloo. And yeah, I realize the odds are next to nothing to get this horrible team in a boxset, but I'd be remiss if this guilty pleasure of mine was left off the list. I'll just sit over here and pine over a Candy Southern Minimate... I dunno exactly what you're talking about here, but they DID make a Defenders boxset. When TTF said "the odds were horrible" he's referring to the possibility of a second Defenders boxset (like one with Silver Surfer and Nighthawk in it, for example). Because let's face it, if DST could make a Part 2 of a given boxset then they should've already done so by now (like with a new roster of characters from Civil War IMO) This got way too confusing way too fast. Yes, I know there was a Defenders set that was released last year, I own it and I love all the characters from it. And combined with my Silver Surfer figure, I have all of the core members of this non-team, it's great! However, in the mid-eighties it was decided to drastically shake up the team and those core members (except for Valkyarie) were ditched for the likes of Ice-Man, Angel, the Beast, Cloud, Moondragon, and their eventual leader/PR person Candy Southern. What I was doing was making an elaborate geek reference to see who would get it. Obviously I know waaaay too much about Marvel history. I'm still gonna sit over here and pine for my Candy Southern figure, just because...

I'm not sure how excited y'all are about this little guy, but he comes with some excellent accessories and can now be found at Urban Outfitters for 1.99! That's an 85% discount for a chainsaw, a guitar, a blow torch, a hat, miscellaneous cooking supplies, and, you know, some dude. It's pretty rad, I just thought I'd pass it along.

I can't believe no one thinks it could be a new defenders set. It would be right in line with the original defenders set they did last year. I can see it now: Angel Ice-Man Moondragon and... um... After reading Secret Invasion (and the past few years of Marvel books) I really want some Young Avengers. Here's how I see it: Hulkling/Wiccan Patriot/Hawkeye (that's Kate Bishop, not Clint Barton) Iron Lad/Stature Further, the other wave ought to be Thunderbolts (also a result of reading too much Marvel over the past few years). I'm thinking: Venom/Moonstone Songbird/Bullseye Penance/Radiation Man That's my two cents, but I'd probably buy whatever they put out.

Aww, come on what's with all the Red Skull hate. Just imagine that face as he towers over the bodies of his defeated opponents and it totally works. I really hope he comes with some kind of cosmic cube though...
