  1. Nice work all around Fujis. The Invincible figures all look great. I've had the trades in my Amazon shopping cart for a long time, but I've never actually gotten any of them... You figures make me want to read the book.

    Love the PD-Destro. Nicely done.

  2. This thread makes me jealous...

Since they started this little giveaway thingy, my Target has had zero Minimates on the shelf... I don't know if I should be saddened (that they didn't have any) or happy (that they didn't have any = means people here are buying Minimates other than me)...

I'm hoping that someone from the 'Verse snags that Silver Spidey. My hopes are with you all.

  3. I wanted to talk music, so I brought back an old thread. Let's see, my favorite bands, in a particulate-but-not-too-much-so order are:

    1. the pillows

    2. Trocadero

    3. Green Day

    4. My Chemical Romance

    5. Weird Al

Pillows is f'n God Music! One of my favorites, too...

  4. I've busted ass on this the last few nights because I'm leaving for the weekend to the in-laws in five hours...

Here's my entry for the contest: The Green Goblin from the first Spider-man movie.

With the S3 figures coming out soon, we need a Norman Osborn to round out the line... And a Doc Ock, but I'm working on him still...

The helmet and glider were all scratch built, but there are a couple of parts-box bits on the glider. The chest armor is a modified re-cast Big Chest. And the belt is from a Batcave Batman. All in all, I've got about 25 hours in the figure and glider, but I think it was all worth it.

    Hope you guys like it.

  5. Hey!

They've actually released the Famosa Disney Peter Pan sets in the US. I don't think that it's Famosa that released them here, but I've seen them at TRU for awhile now, and thought that they were pretty cool.

One of my little cousins has the Skull Rock playset, and the figures are pretty cool... Not too cool in the accessories department, but the figures are decent. I think they're about 4" though.

  6. Yes, She-Thing. It was all painted by hand, except for the grey of the face. I suck at painting faces, so I used a decal for that, and painted everything else in around it. Much like today's figure:

It's been awhile. I've had today's figure done for a couple of weeks now, but I've just been too damn lazy to post pics. I needed a break from working on my entry for the Villan contest, so I decided to shoot this little guy tonight...

You can see him in the first post, or right here.

    Feedback is always appreciated.

  7. Nice work all around 'Viper.

Love the super-articulated Spiderwoman. You've done a superb job there.

I added bicep articualtion on my Green Arrow. You've basically got to do it right under the "ball" of the shoulder. I put a plastic rod in there, then heated it up to mushroom it out and hold it in place.

  8. This new skin is awesome! I love everything about it. From a design stand-point, everything flows very nicely.

    Well Done Ady, Well Done!

I'm glad this place is back (kinda!)...

I was just outside... Decided to mow the lawn. Hit a ginormous rock in the back yard and broke the mower. Awesome! My wife's gonna be so pissed.

  9. I've got all of the Batman animated movies, but have yet to watch Batwoman... I had thought that it was just a few episodes strung together... Never really occured to me that I hadn't seen it when I re-watched the seasons. Thanks for the heads-up guys.

I picked up my Return of the Joker: Uncut about a year ago before Suncoast folded. I did have to look for it for awhile (for some reason, I rarely buy movies on-line... Everything else, but not movies). It's got a black border around the whole cover, and says "The Original, Uncut Version" at the top. It's also rated PG-13. Pick it up, it's awesome.

Of them all, SubZero seemed to be the hardest for me to find. I think I actually found it at a Circuit City in St. Louis awhile back.

    Movie wise:

I've just finally gotten around to opening up some of the After Dark Horrorfest movies. I'm watching "The Gravedancers" right now. It's pretty good. Dominic Purcell (Prison Break / Blade III) is the star. Didn't realize that until I started watching it... Bonus: It's got Clare Kramer (Glory from Buffy) in it... One of my top fives

Just watched the live-action Cutie Honey movie the other night. It's awesome. It's really a live-action anime. Some of the effects are so over the top that it's hard to remember it's not a cartoon. I've had a non-sub/non-dub version for awhile now, (The American disc is dubbed) so it was nice to know what was actually going on. It was directed by Hideaki Anno (of Evangelion fame) so you know it's good shit.

Venture Bros. Season 2 = Awesome! Go Team Venture!

I forgot to pick up The Batman: Season 3 or Teen Titans: Season 3, so I may have to venture out to Best Buy again this weekend.
