Navaan Posted July 14 Posted July 14 I wanna get Transformers Blokees that are to scale with Minimates. Anyone know what scale or model type I should look for? Quote

I bought a couple to what they were like, and they are pretty cool. Aside from the waist being a bit limited the articulation is great, the legs have full 90 degrees range of motion in all directions, and the ball joints means elbows and knees and go outwards too. I did stress the plastic when I tried to take one apart, so not sure if they are designed for that. The smallest ones are just a touch smaller than MM, mainly as they have short torsos. Interestingly the head fits each others neck pegs though. I'll try and snap some pics later Quote
DSTZach Posted July 14 Posted July 14 (edited) I like the Galaxy Blokees, the 4-inch ones, not a huge fan of the chibi-style Defender series, but those vehicle modes are tempting! I know they actually have an entire line of vehicles, I wonder if they're all the same scale. I use Hot Wheels Bumblebee, plus two other Hot Wheels of ur-Beachcomber and ur-Jazz. Defenders are the ones to grab if you’re scaling TF blokees to TF Minimates. However if you want to scale TF blokees to Marvel minimates you’ll want Galaxy Version for the Transformers G1 scale and maybe even classic class for Bayverse scale. Galaxy will bring a Minimate to waist height. Classic I believe to shin height. Edited July 15 by Trekker 42 Quote
Liney Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Snapped a few pics for you The small ones are Defenders - which cost me £3 each The larger one is a Galaxy - which was £8 As you can see they've got a pretty good centre of balance Defenders and MM can swap heads, both of which look alright to me MM head will fit on a Galaxy - but with a giraffe neck. You could cut of some of the red neck, and shorten the neck peg, which is like Lego technic pin Head socket too deep on a Galaxy head to fit a MM Quote
Navaan Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Thanks guys! Looks like I want Galaxy, so I can have them in scale with other Minimates. ^-^ Quote

Classic is big, but there’s just not as many of them. Quote
Liney Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Worth noting if you're buying them in store, from what I could find online, these are true blind boxes with no codes to work out which you've got. Quote

However if you just want all the characters, grab a case. You’ll get one of everyone and a chance at a chase. But in store, correct. True blindness. If you want specific individuals you’ll need to eBay them. Quote
