buttheadsmate
I wonder if there's a Kubrick fan site where everybody talks about how they hate those Doctor Who Minimates.... Does anyone know what that accessory with Hurley is? Is that a scale?! Did they give him a scale because he's the fat guy? Jeez Louise.... It is more than likely a CD player , although burly Hurley might have a sandwich-toaster

karamazov80
Does anybody know of a good site with reviews and/or detailed pics of various Kubrick toys? Maybe akin to Minimate Central/Database, yojoe.com, or the rebelscum Star Wars site? Edited June 4, 2008 by karamazov80
buttheadsmate
I've tried in vain to find a Kubrick site . Somebody here was banging on about such a site a few weeks ago .The site wasn't named & for the life of me I can't remember who started it. I'll trail back my posts. karamazov80
I just found a clear attempt at providing a full list of Kubricks: http://zachd.com/kubricks/kubricks.html He references the great MinimateHQ here, though I'm not entirely sure why. . .I guess he is trying to redirect people to Minimates if they can't get a hold of Kubricks. Related to this list, does anyone here know if the Batman Begins Kubricks were actually released (this list suggests that they were). I've seen a few stock pictures online, but never an actual, "in-hand" picture, so I wonder. The Bale-Batman and Scarecrow look awesome. http://www.toytokyo.com/shopping/index.php...product_id/6328 http://www.amazon.com/Medicom-Kubrick-Batm...s/dp/B000BM2SYI Edited June 20, 2008 by karamazov80

karamazov80
Hey, I'm doing it for my own sick purposes, but I'm glad if you could find some of the links that I dredge up useful. Thanks for posting those pics BHM. I will certainly be on the lookout for that Scarecrow, now that I know it actually exists. I don't know if you saw the other thread, but Medicom is releasing 2 Dark Knight 2 packs, one with Batman and a clear, blue Bearbrick, and one with a Ledger Joker and a "why so serious" painted Bearbrick. I'm definitely going to get a hold of those if I can for a reasonable price, which should satisfy my "Bale-Batman" need. . .then I'll just need to get the Animated and Keaton Bats It is never going to stop with these things. buttheadsmate
Hello all, I'm new to the forum. Im mainly here for the Kubricks, sorry Im not all that excited about minimates. Anyway Ive tried in vain find other Kubrick collectors online outside of Japan, and Im glad Ive come across these boards. Anyway, I'm glad to have found other Kubrick fans out there. I also lurk on the boards at kubricknation, only because the admin is lagging with my account validation, and despite how many emails i send him, my account still wont get validated. But its finally great to talk to some other Kubricks collectors 'Not all that excited about Minimates' Well .....welcome !

ARE-JAY
Went to Gamestop and found Halo Kubrick Series 2! Picked up the variant set with a Pink Master Chief and also another variant set with a Purple Master Chief! Didnt even know a purple one existed. Another strange thing, the case had none of the "regular" set with the White Master Chief... anyone hear any word on that? Only white ones I found on ebay have a press photo...
