Best Magneto

Haven't done this for a while. Let's talk Magneto.

Magneto has quite a few Minimates and I genuinely didn't realize until I spent today putting together my Big Want List. I'll do my usual 3 Categories because he's had enough to justify it.

Best Movie: I want to give it to Young Magneto from DOFP but I think I have to hand it to Future Magneto. He's not as dynamic as the young one but I love the Ian McKellen likeness so much.

Best Alternate Costume: Boy this one is so diffi... It's Age of Apocalypse. I love Now's Black helmet and AOX's terrifying White Knight look, but Age of Apocalypse just has so many options and captures that Magneto so well. They even found a way to get his braids to come out of the helmet. Fantastic work here.

Best Classic: Marvel vs Capcom easily for me. It has the bulky cape, the colors are perfect (Just as much as I love Metallic colors for Doom, I hate them on Magneto) and he's got a great hairpiece and expression. It's somehow both "battle rage" and "sneering racist" simultaneously. 

So what's the Multiverse's vote? Who's the best Magneto?

I also didn't realise we'd had so many Magneto's. For contrast I've got a completely different list:

• Best Movie: I'm going with X-Men First Class - not a fan of the film, but I think the face is good, and I appreciate the completely different look for Mags. Young Magneto a close second.
• Best Alternate Costume: Asteroid M - again, another completely different look that I actually remember reading. Marvel Now is cool looking, but still a pretty standard Mag's look. 
• Best Classic - Marvel Villains for the shading and costume details. Very Jim Lee to me. Would be better with MvC cape and helmet.
