Best Ant-Man

I considered doing an Iron Man thread today but I wasn't feeling like evaluating 83 minimates, so Ant-Man it is! 

This one is difficult since there's a couple of really good options. Lab Attack has the classic charming helmet. Original Avengers box set makes classic Giant-Man an option. But overall, I gotta give it to Wave 44 just for the sheer amount of things you can do with him. And he's got those bright and beautiful colors. 

This does remind me that I need to put my Avengers Box Set Giant Man back together so that his classic version can appear in my collection though.

A tough call between Giant Man and the Avengers boxset. 

Ultimately the boxset one fits my golden age mental image. And has the classic helmet. 

If the blues match, I'd pop Giant Man's more detailed arms and legs on the original for best of both worlds

That’s very Hannah Montana of you. I have been a fan of the best of Pym. Probably because he can also be made to double for Enlomgated Man.

You have no idea how close I was to adding a Hannah Montana gif to that post...

A lot of taller character would look better to me with the Frankenstein feet over the original duck foot, like wave 44 has

I remember the Perez GiAnt-Man having a much more vibrant red than the Avengers #1 one. I tried a lot of different swaps between the different Hank Pyms, including a Giant-Man with some Blob and Onslaught pieces to make him a little bigger. The Perez had a slightly smaller base body than the others, unfortunately working against the lifted boots which only matched that version's shade of blue.

I'd have to go with the first, Avengers #1 version as the best, even with the lack of leg detailing and that goofy old hairpiece. I do wonder why the Best Of version went with the Marvel Adventures look instead of redoing the classic costume.
