Best Xenomorph

I figured it's time to branch out from Marvel a bit while crowning the best of Minimates. And since they've made a shitload of this guy, what's the best Xenomorph? Aside from the Queen because that thing is a masterpiece. 

I am a big fan of the 1979 single pack Xenomorph. It has beautiful silver detailing and glows in the dark! Such a good toy. 

And a shout out to Resurrection Xenomorph for being a neat red with a black headpiece. It's not better than a traditional Xenomorph but it is really neat. And the Covenant Xenomorph might have one of my favorite heads, but the tail is so underwhelming that I can't quite give it the edge over the ones with articulated tails. 

Also comparing on MMDB reminded me how silly most Xenomorphs look when seen dead on. Xenomorph minimates really shine when using side view.

1979 single pack Big Chap for me. I swear I posted this response days ago, but it is showing that I apparently didn't. Anyways, I liked a few of the Xeno minimates, but I think Big Chap is overall the best representation to me. I think I have well over a dozen Xenomorphs, and do really like them all. I still wish we would have got the dog Xenomorph from Alien 3 though. I feel it is sorely missed. I wanted a version that is on all fours.

It is nice to see the Xenomorph in Alien: Earth running on all fours. Too bad we couldnt have gotten minimates of that show.

I forgot we had so many variants until I looked at mmdb. 

I'd have to go for the Big Chap. Then the Burning Alien Warrior.

This is one line where I'm quite satisfied with the character selection we got before it died. Well done DST.

The clearish red and green are cool, but the Big Chap is my favorite. That queen is bad ass, too,

It's a damn good line when the most obvious gap is Prometheus. I would've loved a Prometheus wave though.

Fifield (Alt diseased Fifield)/Milburn with the Little Cobra Guy

Deluxe Set with Battle Damaged David, an Engineer, and that massive facehugger from the end of the movie. Maybe throw in that Goblin Shark Xenomorph.

And see, for me, the most obvious gap is the missing Cheyenne Dropships with Ferro and (Clean) Bishop. 

But, yes, Prometheus is an omission, but I did buy enough of the Shaw packs from Covenant to make at least a few of the Prometheus cast.

Anyway, I think the Phantom Big Chap is the best Xenomorph. I love the translucent aspect of him.
