Comic modern Mandarin alt hands.

Damn. LOL I was going to compliment you on the impressive detail work.

I have nothing else specific but that's a nice looking group of customs. I don't know the source material but front left guy is my favourite. That's a really nice piece.

Ha, I appreciate the intent, but honestly, I am not the best with such fine tuned details. My spine condition leaves me with difficulty with finer things.

Still, thank you. The Serpent Society is a group of villains for Captain America. Lemme toss a link to the source material; https://mightyavengers.net/groups/serpent-society

Front left is Constrictor, who is, to be fair, the only one I did not make. xD Just a standard, later years Marvel Minimate. The rest are all me, though.

Some of my many Captain America customs; these two were very easy, so I thought to put them up for folks if they wanna copy-

Jet 'Black' Zola

'Daughter' of scientist Arnim Zola and his intended heir, she is a powerful fighter and genetically 'superior' woman. She is so sensitive with her senses- sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste- that she can detect changes or stimuli from a hundred miles away, with her skin so sensitive to changes around her, she can use motion to react to how people are going to move or keep moving.

Her figure was super easy; Angela hair, a stern and cocky face, but then Tarot plus some paint and a cape.

Baron Blood

A Nazi and a vampire, two evils that plague any world they are from, let alone a vicious man who is both. Blood may not be as high ranking a Hydra agent as Zola, Zemo I, the Skull or even Zemo II, but his divided loyalties to Hydra and his vampire kin make him an absolute danger to the world and everyone in it.

Baron Blood may be the easiest ever. X-Force Wolverine, any Venom claw hands, and Black Bolt's arms and wings. Done!

These are fantastic! What did you use for Jet's hair? I know its a repainted Angela piece but how did you paint it? I like the matte finish. I generally Sharpie because my painting skills are pretty bad but the result is really shiny.

Citadel Abbaddon Black, I think it is called. Any comic shop/DnD or Magic/etc shop should have it. They are super easy to fix, real 'rub off' or scrape-able, but they settle good once you're leaving it, just don't bang them around or anything.

I love your Jet "Black" Zola. I like how simple it is with just mostly unaltered parts. I am not sure I would risk painting such a part as Angela's hairpiece for I don't have the patience for the detail it would require of me. I like how you had Zola have somehow being a family man even if it is for sinister motives.

However, I like your talent in your customs and look forward to seeing your future additions to your world.

The Baron Blood is a nice concept for your purpose. However, I have also created a character named Baron Blood, who is a villain in my Convergent World saga.  I hope that you know I did not steal the name from you and I know you did not steal the name from me as I have not shared it yet.  My character is an amalgamated character of Baron Zemo and Bloodsport. But I love the two characters you made and may try to make variants for another saga if I have the means to make more customized universes.

They are actually from comics!

Jet Black is from a run of Cap comics called 'Dimension Z.' TL;DR, she is Zola's genetic experiment and intended heir, but she has to question her brutal father and the ethics and morals of another world. I won't spoil for those who never read it, but you can check here-

Baron Blood is a character from Marvel, a baddie for Cap. He was most recently in the Bloodhunt storyline, and is sometimes one of Marvel's main vampire characters like Dracula, Frost and Blade.

That said, I love your Convergent stuff, super good, and I love your creativity. If you ever want random fodder, let me know.

Those both look great - nice work!

Thank you, so much! This is flattering after all your work!

I really want to get a whole 'Captain America, friends and foes' Minimate collection. I don't want to do a lot of customs- or I will be here, all day- but some mainstays or easy ones, or ones that take barely any paint or time.

I was going to interfere yesterday when I first saw the Baron Blood figure , I still have my copy of Invaders #7 from 1976 which features Baron Blood & he's emblazoned on the cover . I said nothing ( unusual for me ) because there have actually been other Baron Bloods since, apparently . Navaans Baron Blood is highly sympathetic to the 1976 version IMHO & quite stunning in its own right . There are so few one-version-only Marvel characters these days & almost impossible ,I would imagine, to be completely new/unique .  I also look forward, as always to Capaco's stuff .

So thanks for the education about the characters of Jet Black Zola and Baron Blood. I didn’t know of them until the information was provided above. I am always up to learn of superheroes that I had not known about.

That is why I really like this community.

THANK YOU! I love the goofy/scary types, and the '76 era Blood had a lot of potential.

To be fair, Jet is kinda 'one and done' forgotten like most comic characters, this point, and Baron Blood is about, oh, a G list villain. (I joke, maybe an E lister...)

My custom ultimate 'modern' Captain America. I love the more 'modern' look of the helmet and gloves/boots over the classic 'buccaneer' look for Cap. Pieces are from the Avengers movie Cap, but I think I might try to change up those eventually, too, with more brown armor and fingerless glove like looks, with some more military/less sci-fi boots. I found a great pair of them, but I need to figure out where I got them, first, so I can get more.

Also here is modern Diamondback, who is, by far, my favorite love interest for Steve (since we were kinda denied the Scarlet Witch storyline). I need to get some clear coat on her, as the pink paint will chip when taking off the jacket piece, but in theory, she has two throwing diamonds and a removable jacket look. The look is a titch different than the modern stuff, as it has shown up in three different comic series/projects, each with differing looks.

She has one with a trench coat w/ hood that I may try to make, sometime, but I dunno if I really cared for it that much. A hood works, but the hood piece in Minimates doesn't quite work with the pieces, and the trench coat does not vibe with the lithe 'snake' vibe she is supposed to have, to me.  She was a Disco Dazzler painted pink, with a spare hair and head. May change the head, too, some point. Same with the face, find something with pink lips and bright blue eyes that 'feels right' for her.  Jacket is from Deputy Michonne.

So, I see how washed out their colors are, now. Her eyes and lips are much better in person, IDK what happened. xD

I will try to take some better pics.

This Diamondback is nicely done. I also like this look for Cap.

Working on my 'BEST EVER' CAPTAIN AMERICA MINIMATE COLLECTION- can't call it 'Ultimate' collection, since, well, there is a literal Ultimate Captain America...

ANYHOW-

A preview. Thunderbolts Zemo, Modern Zemo (comic accurate) and then 'Villains Display' Zemo (who is Modern Zemo, but a bit more trim and idealized (most comics show him with the yellow gloves/boots, some art does the gold look).

Thunderbolts Zemo is a Zemo II Minimate, painted black, with some white gloves from (somewhere), with gold Arthur arms painted black, gray Taskmaster gloves painted white, a belt painted white, and the chest painted black, all with a trimmed down Deathstrike vest.

Modern Zemo is SUPER easy- Dark Tower Tracker sash. strappy webgear on a spare black torso and arms, black legs, and then a Zemo II head/crown with First Class Cyclops or Angel gloves and boots. Add holsters and sword.

Modern Villain Zemo is the same, save the legs and forearms of Zemo II, with black pain to make him all slim and gold. Added an SMG.

Azzaak

A very, VERY dangerous foe, Azzaak here is the current big bad for my DnD campaign I run (paraphrased to TL;DR).

A haunted, and haunting infection and fungal wraith, Azzaak infects with spores and vibes, appearing in your mind as shown in the pictures. He acts as both possession and infection, as haunting and sickness, creating a dangerous threat that infects the mind. Able to read those he infects, he then 'speaks to them,' and if not stopped via medicine and fought in forces of will or magic, he can sequester someone's thoughts and will in a false vision of paradise, urging them to 'let go' and 'praise Azzaak' while he gains control of their body.

My players JUST met him- kinda- where they were searching for a missing caravan, only to find a father trying to protect his daughter from the infected. They rescued them, and worked to evacuate them, only for the father to, in his relief, let his guard down and fall to his infection, thrusting his knife at his little girl's stomach...

Always gotta give a little trauma to players, helps with investment. ^-^

Azzaak was a brainchild of mine from two years ago; he uses a Carnage figure as base, to show his fungal looking form as either apparition of the mind- or a possessed soul who gets fungal growths and rancid flesh to form him should he wish to 'appear' on the battlefield. As, effectively, a zombie horde hive mind, Azzaak needed his crown and gear, so I used Frost Giant accessories and gilded them gold. Azzaak works through others, so he has no eyes, and I removed them from the Minimate. A robe from Ninjak, and the arm and claws of Carnage, too, to be his sinewy fungal grown weapons.

Used the Minimate I made to further make some art to represent him for the players.
