Awesome! Thank you for that update.  Glad to find out the Skybound books are being used for inspiration, but I'd buy them even if they were based on Palitoy Action Force/Joes.

At least that is the current plan. It may change. 

Fingers crossed that Deadpool set is more than just Deadpools in various sizes (ala both Deadpool Corps sets) and gives us some weird deep cuts/supporting characters (ala the TRU Wolverine Wave).  in other words, I hope it's a Joe Kelly Deadpool set with T-Ray, Ajax, Vamp, and Blind Al.

It is not all Deadpools, although I suppose we could have made the Rainbow Squad and saved ourselves a lot of time.

 

The set is basically Deadpool and his Amazing Friends, including two hero updates, one hero we only have in movie form and one villain we have never made.

True, we are getting ahead of ourselves. We haven't offered 88 yet, and 89 is another Spidey set! But we'll get there!

The two that jump out are Agent Zero and Red Guardian. Agent Zero definitely has the Deadpool connection as well.

 

Deadpool and his Amazing Friends makes me think of that Deadpool Annual with Firestar and Iceman, but I imagine that is NOT what Zach intended.

The two briefly interacted in the comics during the Legacy Virus storyline but that's about it as far as connection

I also got Agent X and Agent Zero/Maverick jumbled and thought they were the same person. Agent X is very much connected to Deadpool but doesn't fit any of the other clues.

I’m more curious about the Spider-Man set. I’m not his biggest fan but any time the possibility of getting a fixed Firestar comes up, I get very interested…

Can you please clarify that the Danhausen Vinimates are now in the same 'boat' as every other product on the DST website ?  Will they become more or less unavailable  once they arrive in the Magnolia State ?

The Spidey set looks good! Zach may have shared an exclusive sneak peak. 😁

Although, I only really remember 3 of the 5 figures - they are good updates/variations from a specific storyline.

I had a look at the DST web site to see what bhm was talking about and happened to notice something. On this page, it would look much better if someone pushed Mr. Sinister's hair piece all the way on to his head. When you mouse over, you can clearly see a gap.

I don't know the character that well. Is he known for having a toupee that gets blown up in the wind?

The hair on that prototype is a tight fit. It will likely be placed regularly (no big forehead, no gap) in the final set. Sorry to disappoint.

I know. I tried to get it on his head tighter several times, as he kept falling over in the display case (no foot holes), but no luck.

Not sure why this was sent out. I'll look into it. Pre-orders are open still, but I don't know why they sent out a 15% in-stock discount. I assume it was put together and scheduled weeks ago, and it is taking a little longer than expected to get the product received at the new warehouse. Hopefully soon.
