DST was shut down, as a whole, and the entire staff let go. Unfortunately, this includes our own Zach. The new owners, who also own NECA, have not really said what they are going to do with the brands like Gentle Giant, Minimates, etc. It is debated if the product licenses will transfer. In theory, the stuff already pre-ordered could be finished- and they have not been closed down/refunded/cancelled, but we don't know, at this time. Some pre-orders have gone up and active AFTER DST was shut down, so some things are continuing as previously announced, for now.

Do we know/think the orders for this will be fulfilled? I’d think that since it was meant for a June release they were in fully in the production process before the bankruptcy.

I had the same question. How long is the production process? This is the set I've been dreaming of and the disappointment is just escalating. I hope they see the light of day somehow.

I hope so, but unlikely. Production issues across the board stretched back to January.

The parts were never tooled, so I wouldn't wait on them.

Here's the designs and key art I created, which I hope are a bit of consolation and not salt in the wound.

Well that’s depressing news. Clone Saga ended both Marvel Comics and Marvel Minimates.

Goblin Queen's cape, Wolvie's helmet, Magik's helmet and N'Astirh's wings were all part of a series of customs that I was going to be putting together. I even sourced parts in advance for them. 

The control art is very very welcome though. Thank you for that!

I forgot I designed Cyclops originally, but replaced him with Wolverine since he had a more story-specific look.

Are these comin out or did this box set get cancelled? If its cancelled can i try my had at makin this as a custom set? Is there any news from the new company on what lines they are keeping? I wish i had the money to keep this line goin.

Jack all from them, so far, but hopefully the new owners either continue it once the dust settles, or they are open to selling it.

That said, same. If I had won any of those lovely lotteries the last few years, I would have gone broke buying DST.

Out of the prototyped unreleased sets, I think I’d most like that Ghost Rider proto. Damn good version of the character. I was gonna order the set just for him. 
 

Well that or like… Gandalf the Grey or the Witch King but of the recent cancellations, Ghost Rider.

This entire set was very very high on my want list. Of all the recent sets, in this set there was not a single character that I was even mildly disinterested in.
