Very careful & slow in trying to separate them. Sometimes heat helps but overall it seems to work better on the older mates & the unpainted ones that are cast in the needed color. I don't use any tools & just grip with my fingers as good as I can & slowly & gently pull outwards while moving the knee joint at the same time to wiggle it out. Quote

If Minimates are done, and we don't get the next AEW set, we need the Salt of the Earth, /the/ Generational Talent and villain and the old school heel, MJF! MJF was done with Nate Drake's hair, Wolverine Origins Logan head, the hands and waist and legs were from Lily from Street Fighter X Tekken. The sadistic, the slimey, the graceful, the powerful PAC! Chest and arms came from some unk figure, either Expendables or SF X Tekken or a diff AEW Minimate. Forearm and bicep tape is from different gloves, I think maybe Cobra Commander, and the face is a Tony Stark from the MCU. Hair is Zombie Scarlet Witch, painted black, and legs were black, painted to be his boots and kneepads!... the paint looks rougher in the pic than it does in person. Toni Storm, THE Timeless one, is a couple of spare bare arms, a head (I think) belonging to the Civil War Black Widow (I legit would need to double check), hair from one of the BSG Six Minimates, the OG Elektra black chest and waist, with two Silk Spectre legs! My favorite in the division, Shida has been updated since my last post- thankfully, she has a lot of looks, so I was able to find one I could kind of replicate; I cannot place the hair, but the arms and legs are from Elektra, with a red sash from a Captain Marvel. Black hands, white waist, and the chest is Poison from SF x Tekken. I can't recall the hair, but I think it was used in various Walgreens animated Marvel figures, I just painted it black. Head I also cannot recall, may have been one of the Elektras or X-23? Quote

Navaan Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay Ladies and gents and friends, the 1b and 1c to Hangman's 1a, the other white meat 'happy to be here' flippy s*** babyface and the ultimate tweener-turned-anti hero 'too cool to boo' of AEW! Will is a Hulk hair, painted, with a spare bare chest and some white glove pieces for the elbow wrap and wrist wraps. The legs are from Marvel Boy with a Starlord face. Swerve is a face I sadly cannot recall, with a Nathan Spencer hair piece painted black over an Avengers BC Black Panther torso with an Anne Bonnie jacket painted black with Thor movie Loki legs. HE WAS NOT HARD TO MAKE! A Ryu torso and a face- I cannot recall the one, but a head in tanner color that has got his smug,half-asleep/jerk vibe works easy. Since Okada has been going mega heel, cocky, squinting at and flicking off the audience, I loved this face for him. Blonde hair- though he is going brown, these days- with bare legs with black boots- like the old Elektra, or the Mirror Verse Star Trek girl, painted to match the skin, and then a wrist wrap painted black for the elbow pad, and blammo!
