Maybe do a Haslab or whatever Mattel does that is a 'for order' kind of Kickstarter but internal for a troop builder pack?

2,000 orders, you get Male Trooper, Viper, BAT, and Crimson Guard.

2,250 orders, extra BAT head with red visor.

2,500 orders, extra weapons in the set.

2,750 orders, different skintone arms for Viper and head for trooper.

3,000 orders, female trooper head and chest.

3,500 orders, female Crimson Guard chest.

I'm hoping for the best. This is my favorite license for Minimates that you have. Thundercats was a close second. I hope we see more sets with no repeats of characters for a while, even though I do want a v1 Commando Snake Eyes, and a v2 Storm Shadow at some point.

I have a very strict 7 minimum for army builders lol. So I would be good for 8 sets (always keep a spare).

If they want to do a four figure Joe set, again (and I don't know if I would keep them all Joes/all Cobras save a troop builder set), then thinking about it, a Commando Snake-Eyes, Flint, Lady Jaye and Spirit would be fire. Could change that last one out to a dozen options; Stalker, Shipwreck w/ Polly, Gung Ho, Hawk, Sgt. Slaughter (he requires a license, though), Cover Girl (with alternate red or blonde hairs!), Falcon, so on.

I don't know what characters will be introduced in the new series, aside from the revealed cover spread. There are definitely BATS, and plenty of main characters we haven't done, but also some key characters that we've done before, mostly in different outfits. We'll have to see how it shakes out. If these do well, maybe an army builder like suggested will be possible.

I think starting the line from scratch for now and then hopefully go back to arah is the best route.  Man- i really want this line to go on for a bit more.  At least another 8 new characters.   🤞 

main change i’d ask for is to have each set mix good guys and baddies.

Sorry, does this confirm that a BAT is one of the minimates?

Gonna try to make some custom Troopers. Already made custom Vipers, went with a black look, over blue. May try to also upgrade the vipers with better helmets and gauntlets, though.

Dave on here had some helmets that he made for Cobra Troopers up on Shapeways. He may be able to help you with getting some.

It looks Like Mega Construx are going to be making G.I. Joe sets. Unfortunatley they tend to be a few centimeters too small to use with Minimates. I will still get some though since a few of the MOTU sets worked ok for Minimates.

i disagree.

i bought some halo mega construx and minimates can squeeze in there.  i have a bunch of the masters of the universe ones that i use with minimates too.  same with the ninja turtle van.

this is cool news!  now we just need minimates to squeeze in there.

the real winner will be any playsets they do.  i bought a bunch of the halo ones and both of the masters of the universe ones and they go pretty damn good with minimates

I'm not sure about 'construx' but I have modified various cockpits etc. of ol' Mega Blok sets to enable a Minimate to 'sit within' .   

Just saying.
