alright -- how's this for something to push some more GI JOE minimates with?

also, since Invincible figures are being made i'm assuming skybound license is still a thing -- any chance for Void Rivals?

i can only think of 2 characters from the book that would be cool but if you can sneak in those transformers characters that are more human sized i think it'd make an incredible set!

Looking at those  GI Joe guys in Nando's link they appear to be huge muscle-bound guys with huge biceps ...sadly the GIJ 'mates look somewhat ....er..different.

It took years before several of the Marvel 'mate characters got the 'bulk' they deserved ( Thor ,Hulk blah blah) , would anybody agree that the Joe's need some muscle ?

A few for sure but I think the normal mate body is fine for most.   Road pig is the only one I would bulk up.  Not sure who this artist is but they may be going too bulky.   
from the ones in this pic Mercer is bulked up which could be justified but I don’t think necessary.  He would be one of the bulkiest from this selection

Most Joes would not need bulk in Mate form. Hell most of the 3 3/4" weren't bulky.

We'll see how well it sells, but we were already looking at the strong Scarlett and Cobra Commander sales (thank you for pointing those out), so it's not like the existence of a GI Joe book is some kind of ground-breaking thing. I'm sure it will sell well. Hopefully we can make more MM happen.

Mixing TF and Joes in toy packaging is, for us, not an option. Don't point out places they've done it before, if there are any. We can't do it. Trust me. 

I have not read Void Rivals yet, but guess what I just requested from my library? (Hint: It's Void Rivals.)

there's always been a joe book but i think this is the most popular its been since the 80's so i hope it translates.
the devils due stuff was great at first but went downhill pretty quickly...... those j scott campbell covers were nice though!

and yeah, mixing minimates i remember you mentioned got shot down but wasn't sure if it was a unique thing.

Any way you can let us know if Lady Jaye & Flint have been designed or would that be too much info?

I will keep holding onto hope for more waves of GI Joe until you let us know that ship has sailed. Even then I might hold onto 50% of hope since knowing is only half the battle.

Not sure I can share them, but four Joes have been designed and sculpted and tooled, so I would like to see them get out there. You would like the line-up.

Four Cobras have been designed, not sure about sculpted.

While it wouldn't be "mixing" could companion sets be offered at, say, a Con? Have a 4-pack of Joes and a 4-pack of TF with packaging art that combines, similar to the power rangers covers?
