thank you guys for sharing so much behind the scenes stuff.  it truly has been great even knowing we'll most likely never see them made.

question -- are there any for transformers?

i remember Skywarp was in the plans to be released somewhere.  was there any plans for who else would have come in that set?

This was intended to be Wave 5 (Wave 4 being The Movie box set):

 

Rodimus Prime was originally in Wave 5, but was replaced I believe with Skywarp.

 

Megatron was also slated for the GI Joe Ninja Force box set as you've seen before.  I also made the Hero version of him as a potential backup.

these are all incredible designs and i i'm glad you shared them....it hurts but i get some comfort knowing so many figues i wanted (not just here but across the lines) had been considered and made it this far in the design stage.  freaking beautiful.

i just realized the purple megatron's base.

dammmmmmmmmmmmmmn!

 

the rodimus -- hard to compare since i don't have my figure in front of me but what were the differences between rodimus and hot rod?

and i will have to look up what the hero megatron was.  no idea and i thought i was a big transformers fan!

Rodimus… has slightly different legs and maybe different wrist thingies? And the colors are a bit more muted but that could be the difference between seeing art and seeing the toy on Ivan’s database  

 

I bet he was replaced because he looks so damn similar to Hot Rod.

Galavtronization Megatron is an inspired choice. 

As an inexplicably diehard fan of the '86 film I was frothing at the mouth hoping to at least get Scourge and Cyclonus. We were so close!
