buttheadsmate Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) Just to get it out of my head ....Medicom produced 3 series' of B@wbricks (not Bearbricks,not kubricks ..B@wbricks). B@wbricks are articulated ,canine Kubrick-like figures & if I recall correctly the chase/secrets featured cats ...articulated ,feline Kubrick-style figures . There are more feline / canine B@wbricks featured in other kubrick licenses. They are quite lovely . I literally spent years hunting the 'Warhol cat B@wbrick' which was part of an extremely expensive Medicom Warhol themed package of 'designer items' , I finally scored it a couple of years ago (just the cat!) Why did they called B@wbricks ? I'm not sure but I personally reckon it's a mispronunciation of Pawbricks Edited June 20 by buttheadsmate sp. Quote

That particular set ,which I also have, is not the one that included the 'Warhol cat B@wbrick' that I hunted which is blue . My knowledge of Warhol is limited ...one of his famous works was called "One Blue Pussy " . Medicom included a blue b@wbrick with one of these bizarre releases of huge cushions inspired by Warhol...bananas being the favourite ! I don't have the cushion BTW but I spotted the Blue cat b@wbrick loose on ebay . Thanks again for indulging me but I'll not deflect from your great thread any longer Quote
