I'll do you one better -- when I'm all done in ~3 months with my PMIF & MOKF crusade, I'll make printable PDFs or JPGs available for free.

Dope. I have to figure out how to print the things. I've seen people make characters like Jocasta and Misty Knight and I'm so jealous.

Mystics?

Nice work BHM and Padrino!

Renegades and Mystics! In transparency:  as far as titles go, I mostly chose the name because it sounded cool. There may be a couple mysticky folks in the wave, and an arguable renegade or two, but this was the working title, and it stuck.

Still some work left to do, but not a lot. ETA = next week. In the interim, I may flip the script and share some of the comic imagery and inspiration for these first. That way you'll have some context, and can see how close to/far from the mark I landed with them.

Please do! Magic characters are my favorite type of characters and I personally love to see them!

Rufus Carter & Oryx

Several MOKF characters were archetypes lifted from Bruce Lee movies. Oryx is straight up Marvel's version of Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Rufus was an ally, kind of in the mold of Jim Kelly.

Dark Angel & Midnight

Dark Angel is a secret agent of some stripe. Well, actual white stripes. In her hair. Midnight is the one character you might actually recognize; he strangely appeared in some Silver Surfer comics later on.

Darkstrider & Shadow Thief

Who doesn't love a six-armed spidery guy? It begged to be done with the existing Spidey parts. This one's almost entirely a QC folks, with just a little paint for the hair. Shadow Thief is the ultimate badass ninja beyond ultimateness and badassery. You should really read his writeup at marvunapp for a chuckle. I normally don't do characters that only appeared in the b&w magazines, but this guy graced a cover and I thus had a color palette to work from.

War-Yore & Eric Slaughter

Eric Slaughter is the alter-ego; the conceit here is that this fellow is the BAF of the wave. This guy was mentally unwell, and attacked Shang-Chi in many guises including Robin Hood, the Red Baron and Genghis Khan. War-Yore was the culmination of his insanity, and included parts of the costumes of each of his historically-inspired identities.

Phansigars & Thugees

Army builders! And members of the Order of the Golden Dawn. Receivers of many a punch and kick from Our Hero, when not actively attacking Shang-Chi, their bodies can be seen strewn about the floor in the issues in which they make appearances.

I feel like I've done everybody justice... just waiting on one lone piece to arrive so I can finish the final paints for the Phansigar.

To keep myself occupied, I've already started on the next wave. Which will contain a whopping THREE C-listers, who people might actually recognize for a change. The rest are the usual D-listers and army builder fare. This wave also contains one of my personal favorite Marvel characters of all time, mostly because of the costume design & theme. I am very pleased with the way that one is shaping up.

Parts, parts parts. I'm still in the market for Dekkion helmets (D&D). I could also use a Tygra and/or his bolo weapon. And either a Grune or a Lion-O belt. Just putting it out there.

You know, the Shroud and his Night Shift (and some of the other "macabre" characters from the original Spider-Woman series) seem right up your alley. And I definitely know a welcome home for them after you're done...
