Captain Paco Posted September 21 Author Posted September 21 Thank you DSTZach and Padrino. Also, Thank you to Luke and Kotter Comics. The more I find in my parts containers the more ideas I get but sometimes they don't look good to me after I assemble them. The ideat for Harely and Mojo to be fused was more or less, me looking to fuse Harley but not wanting it to look obvious. Mojo is an attention seeker and Harley is a little like that and that is how Laugh Track came to be. Praetor come from me having a leftover Guy Gardner body from when I used the head to make a Superman Movie version of Guy so I needed the right fusion for him and Gladitor sort of fell in to my hands as I had the extra Gladiator head from using his body for some other idea I had previously. Deadeye came from my desire to use Deathstroke in a fusion and not sure who to fuse him with. Bullseye came to mind and I felt that would be too obvious, but I went with it but changed his color scheme as I don't have any blue and orange armor parts, so I used red. I really appreciate all the encouragement every gives here. Thank you for letting me share. Quote
cylonchaney Posted September 21 Posted September 21 You have a real talent for colour matching parts. Many QCs look like just that. The person has found parts of the right colours for the character, but the arm shade looks off on the chosen torso, or whatever. They go together but then they kind of don't. Your customs tend to match parts well and look like they could be factory Minimates. It's more than just finding the parts to make the character. It's finding parts that look like they all belong to the same character. If you know what I mean. I think your creative backstories add to the customs. But the thing that stands out most to me is your skill at part selection. Quote

I don't like to have to repaint or sculpt parts, especially body parts. I limit adding accessories only because I would spend most of my time looking for just the right one to use. I would rather spend my time making the character and not focusing on accessories if I can avoid it. Again, Thanks for the motivation to keep going with my custom amalgamated world. Quote
Captain Paco Posted October 2 Author Posted October 2 So, I do have more fusion ideas in the pipe line for Earth 999602. However, I am tinkering with some ideas for a different more original realm. Not sure the overall name yet but I am trying to build color themed characters. Right now I have Red Tempest, Daemon Blanco, Wicca Jade and Azure Specter as my primary heroic team. Then I have Dhark Shade, Violet Vixen and Auric Wraith as a trio for my villainous team. I am trying to work on a silver villain and an orange or yellow villain. Just not sure of their overall universe just yet. I will share once I have more of this idea in place with my story. Quote
