Giving this one it's own thread since I figure this might generate interest from those who don't typically read the Kubrick thread. Not really excited about how the actual Mega Man Kubrick turned out (something about his face. . .), but it is Mega Man, so I'll have to get that one. They're doing Mega Man and the mysterious Break Man from Mega Man 3.

Is it just me, or is the lack of chest detail highly distracting?

I sort of prefer Break Man to Megaman Kubrick-design-wise, but the Bearbricks are both good, in a gummy-bear minimalist kind of way. More power to any fans who'll like these, I guess.

*But really I'm for anything that'll help Chuck see clearer and diversify the line even more, so that everyone will be happy. Also, I still want Inhumans even though DST said that might take take a while. Also also, I really do not understand DC's decision-making process sometimes. Also also also, the Book of Minimates needs to become a real thing. Also also also also, I'm still looking for Femme Fatales Minimates.

Yeah, I think it would work better if the face wasn't so detailed and cartoony. If you are gonna do a detailed face, add a bit of detail to the body, as well. If you are gonna create as basic a body as this, the face should be a little more basic and NES-like, in my opinion. I'll still try to track this down, though. And yeah, Break Man has the scarf, shield, reversible head, and a more detailed blaster. Based on their merits as toys alone, I think Break Man is probably better.

How awesome is that Capcom copyright logo, though? 8-bit-tastic buttrock.gif

Capcom is asking fans if they want these to be brought over.

If you want these to be imported to the US (which would probably make them a wee bit cheaper than $30 to $40 a pack) then leave a comment!

Sorry for the double post but it appears that these are going to be sold stateside.

While it hasn't been confirmed by Capcom itself, the boxes are in english and use Megaman and Protoman instead of Rockman and Blues.

OOOOH my gosh it's Proto Man. Why does Kubrick get all the amazing licenses?
