Right then, the lovely folks at AFX have accepted me into their affiliate scheme, so this site now earns 10% of the purchase price of any goods (not shipping) that you buy.

To make purchases that qualify they must be done through a special URL, this URL is:
http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?actio...nnD+index.html+

Any puchases made without going through that URL dont count, so if you want to support the site, make sure you click through that URL then make your purchase tongue.gif Also if you want to give a heads up about an AFX offer anywheres on the board, I'd LOVE IT if you could use that url to direct people there.....

AFX supply a selection of banners to help advertise themselves here however there arent any Minimate ones (guess we are the first tongue.gif) so Im holding a little contest. I'd like a banner designing, to sit up at the top of the site in place of the Darktide one, a banner that advertises AFX.

Rules:
*I get to choose the winner, sorry but thats the way it is, by all means comment on other peoples entries but the decision rests with me, and possibly some people whos opinions I'll ask.

*AFX have to approve the banner, so nothing slanderous, factual untrue or rude tongue.gif

*Horizontal banners only please, and keep the size reasonable.

*Smaller filesize the better.

Prize:
AFX Exclusive elven warriors 2-Pack

Seeing as we're kind of affiliating with AFX is there any chance at all of getting them to review their international shipping charges? I think they wanted to charge me $30 dollars to ship a couple of packs of minis over.

Extortionate non?

Thats my only bug bear with them, internationall shipping is absolutely, completely insane.

Although apparently if you contact them they can review the situation, not sure to what degree though. Whenever I've used them I've always decided to have it shipped to a US member then forwarded on from there. Takes longer but is a hell of a lot cheaper.

OK, the eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed Im using all the banners.....

AFX liked them all, so they are all getting used.

Feel free to keep submitting them, and I'll pull the winners name from a hat of all those who submitted....

Well we got two entries in time for the contestishness, so I'll leave it open a little longer.

With the Speed Racer mates now been listed on AFX, perhaps a Speed banner would be cool?
