The main part of the game is turn-based combat, with your team of heroes squaring off against thugs and villains. On each hero's turn you can choose an attack or use an item. You get more attacks and items as you level up. The game gets more involved the more you play. You can research and combine new technologies to upgrade your team. Your team members have certain classifications that give them attack bonuses against villains with contrasting classifications. So as the game gets harder you have to decide which heroes to put on your team with which gear.

Sounds very cool. So, to be totally blunt, is there a way to play on Facebook without being seen on FB playing games?

Um, I only ask because I have this friend who wants to play at work, but doesn't get caught. I just wanted to ask for him, not because it's something I would want to do; that'd just be wrong.

Your friend could turn off notifications for the game on FB, and the game won't post anything to your friend's wall/timeline. However, if your friend doesn't want Facebook showing up in his internet traffic at work, that is a different story altogether. He would have to go through a proxy, which isn't as hard as it sounds. Have your friend go here and try a few. :)

Sorry if this seems a dumb question, but whats Maggia?

It's a team/group of villains in the game associated with Hammerhead.

Is this from the comic books?

My first thought was that perhaps it was a typo for Mafia - but that's as close to an answer as i've come up with.

Basicly Maggia is what Marvel use for Mafia just better weapons etc. and the "familys" are usually controlled by a super villain.

Spidey has had a good few runs with the Maggia as its a good source of street lvl thugs with hi tech weapons and B/C list villain for him to fight.

Luke, how did you get all those characters? I only have 18 coins, haha.

I actually had a wonderful glitch happen to me when I was playing. During a battle, a command point dropped out of an enemy. When I picked it up, instead of it saying +1 like usual, there was a paragraph of code instead. It was stuck on the screen, and after the battle was over I refreshed the page, which made it go away. Afterwards, instead of having 16 command points, somehow I had 160. I didn't report this issue. :D

I have most of my characters at level 6 or higher now (I play this game WAY too much), and I can't recommend War Machine highly enough. He is a beast, especially when you unlock his level 6 attack. He does consume a lot of stamina, so I always have a weaker character give him a serum that lasts for a few turns.

I actually figured this out also and have him training right now to level six. He's probably the best value for the points overall.

And if you're playing this WAY too much, then I'm playing WAY WAY too much considering I'm four levels ahead of you and I just started playing a week ago. You totally created a monster.

Yeah I laughed when I saw that you passed me yesterday. :)

War Machine is also great for the PVP tasks, because 95% of the time, people have Iron Man in their team, and War Machine gets double attacks against him (blaster), and can usually wipe him out in 2 turns or less.
