Mnemosis
Does DST at some point generate 3D models of each piece? If so, I was thinking... what about a feature on Diamond's website for designing your own 'mate? It'd be a digital catalog of every Minimate piece so you could mix and match online. Granted, it would likely do more directly for secondary market sales than anything, but... theoretically, the more Minimates XYZ sells on ebay, the more NEW 'mates he'll buy. By the same token, a system like this should help move stagnant product at Luke's/other specialty shops. Thoughts?
DSTZach
We do not generate any 3-D models. We draw them, they get sculpted. I do not think they are sculpted digitally, if they are I have never seen them.
Mnemosis
Ah... well then, that would be WAY too much work for a promotional piece. If the 3D sculpts were already there, it would have been cool, though
Shogi
This is basically why I wish individual parts were easier to search for on the Minimate Database (though I can imagine it'd take a ton of work to do that just to appease a few of us)
Mnemosis
Even if you could see the parts, I'm wondering too about how things would fit together. Whether or not colors will match would also be a good one
