Cappy
Just stumbled across Lego Disney Princess in the store, which was news to me. www.lego.com/disneyprincess Pretty cool that Lego scored such a license and I find them strangely difficult to resist. I think it's because Lego cleverly put them in the Lego Friends form factor.
dr baghead
I couldn’t resist them... I bought the Aerial, Merida, and Rapunzel sets. They’re absolutely fantastic, the figures are adorable, they come with their pets (or little brothers as bears) the sets were easy to build (I’m still scared of building larger sets after the horror that was the C3 Bat cave) and look super cute. I’d really like a Mulan set (they could reuse a lot of Ninjago props for it) but since her Blu-ray already came out I’m sure it’s a ways off. the only downside is Flynn Rider looks terrible as a friends minifig... it makes me sad that when if Jasmine gets made then Aladdin will probably look just as bad (I’m hoping the Beast would be a unique sculpt like Hulk if Belle got a set, but I’m anticipating disappointment in getting “Adam” with a mask or just getting all the sidekicks in place of a second figure) (this is also the first time I’ve gotten to see a friends base in person, do they sell them in blind bags or anything? I need to get a couple of these to make some Monster High customs, they’re the perfect size next to the Universal Monster minimates)
Trekker 42
This does make me wonder if we'll get any villains anytime soon.
UK Collector
Darn it. I wish these were normal mini figure size.
hellpop
I bought the Ariel set for my daughter (she hasn't opened it yet, it's for Valentine's Day), and she wants the others. I agree that I wish they were traditional Lego Minifigs.
Cappy
I can understand going with the Lego Friends figures for the Princesses line. If Lego expands into Disney at large, I could see that license easily slipping into the standard minifig realm. I need to get a couple of these to make some Monster High customs, they’re the perfect size next to the Universal Monster minimates) Well, there's these: http://www.amazon.com/Lite-Brix-Moonlight-Monsters-Mansion/dp/B00G116MWC A double knock-off of both Lego Friends and Monster High. heh

The rest are drab gray normal looking girls with nothing monstery about them. (also, I just now noticed these are called “Lite BRIX” was “Blox” taken?!) I did however find a Hong Kong reseller selling 7 random Lego Friends minifigs (and I *MEAN* random, he has negative feedback for some of them having male heads and weird hair) for what breaks down to $1.30 each, so I bought 14 which should be a good start... cidman911
Went halfsies on the Tangled set ($40...sheesh) with my girl, but she loves it. She was upset it didn't come with that white horse but I tracked down a random Lego horse at a local Swap Meet for a $1. It looks great in person.
