Shanester
Sideshow doesn't sell Minimates, but they have agreed to a reasonable commission on any piece bought from them by going through one of the banners located on the Multiverse. So, if you like the Multiverse and plan to purchase from Sideshow, please use our banners. If you're not familiar with them, they develop some of the coolest high end collectibles out there. Check'em out!
antacost
That's cool... I was looking at those new Shaun of the Dead 12"ers just a bit ago... Now I'll get them from a banner here. Kudos, Shanester. Way to pimp for the 'Verse!
luke314pi
Shanester can confirm that I buy at least three statues a year from Sideshow. I will definitely use the links!
Shanester
Shanester can confirm that I buy at least three statues a year from Sideshow. I will definitely use the links! Yeah, I figure Luke alone could create enough revenue to pay off the Multiverse each year!
antacost
Back before they dumped the Buffy line, I was spending quite a bit with them. Since then, not so much... I actually got a Christmas present and Card from them one year.
karamazov80
Despite their prices, they have released a few items that I have an interest in buying. Unfortunately, they are all discontinued, and go for way too much on eBay My number 1 example: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=6310 http://cgi.ebay.com/Hot-Toys-Aliens-Corpor...bayphotohosting Nonetheless, with Indiana Jones licenses coming their way, and Darkman figures. . .I'll definitely consider buying from them, through here, at some point. buttheadsmate
If you're not familiar with them, they develop some of the coolest high end collectibles out there. Check'em out! When I see some the action figure stuff some of you guys have ,I realise how new I am to collecting them. It was through Sideshow that I began collecting action figures , notably the X-Files figures . I collected all of these ,& 'Krycek' rocks. If you've not tried Sideshow ,do so ,because they are a very professional outfit.
Rad
Took me by surprise seeing that banner this morning, but they do create great collectibles. Their 12" Star Wars line is astonishingly good.
Danny
And the banners look great!
mav-man
I've bought some of the 12 inch figures from the star wars, x-files, and highlander series from them and they are quite cool, but they are pricey on some stuff! Any future purchases I make I will difinetly go thru here though!
TM2 Dinobot
Sorry to necro such an old thread but yeah. I am fully intending on getting the new Lara Croft figure. How do I do that so that we get the bonus off of it? Cause I thought the banners were for only what the banner pictured.
Shanester
If you access the Sideshow site and then buy anything, the Multiverse gets credit. In each case, only a couple of dollars come back to the site, but it all adds up. I'll see if they have Croft banners out yet. if so, I'll add it for a while. TM2 Dinobot
Thanks. I ordered it. Now just to have money when it gets ready to ship... >.< When does Sideshow kick some cash in the kitty? When I pay or pre-order?
Shanester
When does Sideshow kick some cash in the kitty? When I pay or pre-order? Only when the item is paid for. However, on the affiliate page I can access, I do see when an item is pre-ordered through our banners and the potential return it offers. In total, there have been about ten orders (both preorder and in-stock) made through the banners we host. So far, only 3 have netted funds and it looks like about $16 total. It may not seem like a lot, but if we raised only $5 a month, that would cover hosting fees for the year. Anything over that would go towards the annual licensing fees for the board software and more prizes.
