Yep it's that time of the year again where we're going to be encouraging you show us your imagination, tenacity and minimate photography skills. (of course we're going to add a couple of minor wrinkles to keep things fresh and you guys on your toes!). Prizes include: This HUGE Banner that was used to advertise this years blanks in the DST booth at SDCC! It's literally the largest thing we have ever given away! It's made from heavy vinyl and is a unique piece of minimate history to treasure especially if you can find space to hang it! 6 sets of the 5 blanks from this years SDCC. (The 4 colors plus SCI-FI Six) Plus at least another dozen random colored blanks & Sixes from SDCC. There may even be some other secret prizes for hitting unannounced 'secret goals'... Interested in playing along? What do you need to do? Everyone entering will need to make a unique minimate, this could be a pretty lavish custom or a quick & dirty part swap custom, it's entirely up to you but it does need to be unique. Just like last year, we need you to have a unique minimate for you to 'buddy up with' for the Challenges. Once you have your hunt buddy then post a pic here to be qualified to enter the contest. Having never customized a mate and my God given gift to lack at all things artistic, I'm trying to find out how much of a customizing ability this will entail. HeyJJW, You know you want to play along... As JCastick Said, it's not about skill as a customiser and you wont be judged on the character you make. It's more about you having a character you are happy making and is unique to play the game with, a simple parts swap to make someone you like will work fine. As for the hunt itself, It will likely involve photos of the minimate and perhaps one or two of yourself most likely doing daft and amusing things.... go look up last years hunt threads for examples of what to expect This year we have intentionally picked a mix of easy and not so easy "challenges'' that will take a VERY dedicated person to get ALL of the points available... I don't expect anyone to get them all which I hope will make it a close run contest. But the main point is that we're going to amuse ourselves, have fun doing daft things involving minimates and give away some cool stuff. T. BTW guys as allways, any questions feel free to PM me...
