battlecat
I tend to go for the dynamic "standing there" pose with my own displayed mates, but that is an awesome Wolverine pose. And even Cat Beast almost looks cool in that set-up... Good job!
Rheul
Shanezey, do you have any better pictures of that Holmes custom? I'd like a better look too!

Killek
I'm thinking about buying a LEGO castle or something to pose my fledgling collection on... has anyone done this?
NorthRaider
I've considered investing in a Lego set for my 'mates once or twice, though to me the biggest consideration had always been the price (they don't exactly go for peanuts ) and scale (Minimates are generally taller than Lego minifigs, and might not be fully compatible with the sets). As a general rule the block system most naturally compatible with 'mates would be of course the defunct C3 line, followed very narrowly by Mega Bloks (YMMV on the quality of these though). We also have this thread for general discussion on Minimate-compatible displays, accessories and the like.

buttheadsmate
I'm thinking about buying a LEGO castle or something to pose my fledgling collection on... has anyone done this? Although it is much-maligned I really don't think that as a cheap basis for any Minimate diorama the C3 Batcave can be bettered. I'm not sure if anyone here is offering one but loose C3 sets without the figures still remain cheap.

youbastards
I picked up a bunch of the 3-tier display stands from The Container Store, and here's what I've done so far. As you can see, I'm organizing by wave. Oh yeah, and I'm also showing off my Gold/Silver Spideys I got. Miniman33
Whoa nice collections guys I would put some pics of my collection up but mine isn't half as good or even half as big as any of the ones that I have seen on this thread. TBT!
Whoa nice collections guys I would put some pics of my collection up but mine isn't half as good or even half as big as any of the ones that I have seen on this thread. Hey Miniman, Don't be shy, we all started with a single 2-4 minimate pack and personally I love to see any collection big or small. For those of us who have larger collections the smaller ones bring back fond memories of the days when we just started out and were in awe of those who had everything, well at least I was ! T. karamazov80
I remember going to buy Blue Beetle/Booster Gold, but debating whether or not to get the Green Lantern or Batman packs. "$7 for 2 of these 2 inch figures? Seriously?" Man, things have changed a lot for me over the last few years Edited June 6, 2010 by karamazov80

Rheul
Whoa nice collections guys I would put some pics of my collection up but mine isn't half as good or even half as big as any of the ones that I have seen on this thread. You don't need a giant collection to show it off. Sometimes I see a pic of folks with everything they own with 20 AIM guys and 30 HYDRA guys and they have everything crammed together. Honestly, its just too much. I was having trouble finding places for all my Mates (I must have 400 at this point) and my wife talked me into just displaying my favorites and she was right. Now I can see each character and enjoy them. If I get tired of my current display I can rotate in some characters that are in "The Jar" (see page 31 of this thread). We're all tempted to go overboard but if you want a good looking display a lot of the time less is more.

youbastards
Cool, I'll have to look for some. Did you have to put something in the tip for the Minimate feet, or is just the main piece all you need?

Captain Minimate
This ISN'T my collection, nor a real minimate-based one, but-- WOAH!!! Check out all the Spidey stuff he's got! And that guy's even got some minimates, but that's nothing compared to the sheer amount of other things he has! http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2010/...-shelf-porn-73/
