How many votes do I have?

You only have three votes on the whole list in this first round!

How do I vote?

Since we created a huge amount of box set suggestions and wishlists for Marvel characters to be minimatereized (about 158 at last count), now is the time to start voting for your three favorite sets. In this first round you have three votes on the whole list. Please stick to this number of votes although technically the possibility of multiple votes is provided. Please be honset.<b>*</b>

What do I vote on?

In this first round you are voting on Box Sets in general without a particular character configuration. If you need more information on how a particular roster might look like, you can view the <b><a href='index.php?act=findpost&pid=0'>nominations</a></b> list. It includes all suggested box sets with detailed character line-ups. There will not be any other character arrangements than those up for vote. (So, if you're unsure which characters for instance "Inhumans" might represent, you are able to look it up there. If you really like some particular line-ups listed there, be sure to vote on the "Inhumans" in generall in this poll!)

What happens next?

The Top 15 of this vote will be listed in a second poll. There you will be able to vote for your most desired box set of the reminding top list. You will also be able to vote on a particular character configuration in that second and final round. After that vote we will hopefully have our five most desired box set suggestions to present them to AFX.

Apologies - i've been doing this in TextEdit files on my old Mac as my new one has not yet arrived (should be coming next monday - WOOT!), and so there is some room for error.

Brotherhood / Freedom Force (Pyro, Avalanche, Destiny & Blob era)

Maximum Carnage

I'm keen to see if there's an overlap with the 2009 results. I think last years releases have really opened up a wider range of what could be possible to the punters here.

I voted and I must say that was realy tough but in the end I went with

1 Alpha Flight - One of my dream teams to be Minimated

2 Blak Cat T.T.A.-I think it would make for a fun & awsome box set

3 Brotherhood of Mutants (Original)- another one of my dream teams to be Minimated and there long over due(I.M.O)

Bit surprised to see Wrecking Crew already jumping ahead, after Chuck's Q&A answer a while back (something along the lines of 'if we saw them they'd be mixed into waves not as a box set')...

Awesome! Glad to see Gen X getting some love. I'm kinda kicking myself for not voting for em myself.

We can't really know if AFX took what we put into serious consideration or if the box sets produced were already in the works, but of the 5 box-sets voted on and the 20 characters chosen for those box sets, at least 11 of them have since been produced (Captain Britain, Meggan, Phoenix (Rachel), Shadowcat, Vulture, Doc Ock, BlackBolt, Black Panther, Yellowjacket, Electro & Lizard).

I take the past 18 months of releases as a good indication that the powers that be do listen to us a bit, even if they can't give us everything we want.

Hey Y'all - We're about a week out from the closing of this poll.

so far we've got some clear favourites. Alpha Flight & the Wrecking Crew are both going strong. Brotherhood & X-Factor are both scoring nicely too . . . but with 8 days left to go, anything can happen.

If you haven't voted yet, get in now before you miss out! It'd be great to see some of the sets who are trailing a bit at the moment pick-up some momentum.

Well, it's the very end of Sunday here in Australia . . . but you folks across the Pacific have the whole day ahead of you - so if you haven't voted yet, get to it. There are some clear leaders on the list so far, but there's still room for some of the box sets with low vote numbers to sneak into the next round.

I'm looking forward to seeing if there are any more voters & just who makes it into the top 15.
