Few people will have left their TVs much less gone to get a new old game. It's opening day sales are probably going to be crap, but it'll probably do well in the long run. Maybe we'll get a Hawkeye in original colors but in the style of the Dark Reign Hawkeye, slimmed down and all that,. As for those Capcom characters I have no idea who they are. Give me Mega Man! Capcom: Firebrand Strider Hiryu Phoenix Wright Vergil Nemesis Frank West Marvel: Hawkeye Ghost Rider Dr Strange Iron Fist Rocket Raccoon Nova Now, it does clearly state this is rumored, but they are basing this off of "MVC3 style" character art. Nessex Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 Well - i think Hawkeye could do with a new MiniMate. The original was a little bulky, so seeing a MVC3 version of him could be great. These characters are great for the game. I think they'll offer some very diverse & fun game-play. . . but they don't offer much new stuff for Marvel Minimate fans... Rocket Raccoon, eh? As a minimate? I'm almost hoping he comes as an accessory rather than a full scale minimate. I'd love to see him as a Pack-in for a Nova/Nemesis set. But there is also Rocket Raccoon who, despite being an interesting design and would be fun to fight with, makes me wonder what the holy fuck they're thinking? Are they so out of Marvel characters they have to resort to THAT!? I mean Good God, if you wanted someone silly to balance out the fact that Phoenix Wright is on the other list (Damn he'll be awesome), HOWARD THE DUCK would be more recognizable. The new characters revealed to be in Ultimate MvC3 is not part of the licensing deal and thus are not set in stone to be made as minimates. Discussions ongoing between the parties... DST were informed earlier in the year about the new characters. Chuck is pleased that the MvC minimates are going to be in stores around the time the video game launches. 3 series (TRU/Specialty) seem to be set in stone. 4th is a wait and see depending on sales. Strider has been a favourite of mine since MvC1 so it would be a huge shame if he can't get released. And if Rocket is indeed in it (I think the likely hood is 99.99999r%) it would be a great way to add in an awesome Cosmic character. Heck, the entire Ultimate line could be done in one combined Specialist/TRU wave, with perhaps the second Strider skin for another boxset .
