@ minijeff:

I was wondering, will you be making a review of Cap and Arnim Zola?

I will as soon as I can get back to the comic shop to pick a set up, or a set gets here in the mail, whichever comes first!

until then here is todays review, the SDCC/Disney Store exclusive FF set!

Enjoy!

Your work load might be lightened if you'd ease up on the reviews a bit. Somewhere in between MMC and MMDB would be perfect.

Also, doing 2 packs seems cheeky when it should be 1 minimate a day.

Just a couple observations.

I think you're doing a fine job Jeff. Do whatever makes you happy. I personally like the switch ups. A single mate one day, a 2-pack the next, then a 4-pack and even your son's contribution on Sundays are great. You never know what to expect.

Well the review posts can be a bit longer I have gotten quite a bit faster at them. My busyness is generally more related to my life outside the toy world, internship teaching, my wife and five kids - that kind of stuff. I like doing the reviews when I can get stuff close to it's release or if there has not been a whole bunch of pics about newer stuff. As the traffic on the blog shows the review posts seem to draw more hits as well, not that it really matter that much to me, but other people do like to see the numbers coming through my door. I will continue to do the single mate posts but will also continue to toss in the reviews when it works out. Coming next year will be some other different posts as well...

here is todays post, another review one...this time of the Gauss cannon warthog box set - god bless Canadian TRUs for stocking minimates!!

So as I was coming up on the final month of 2011 I began to look back at the year and realized that there was no way that I was that interested in shutting down the blog in 2012, it still was too much fun and a great space for me to work on my ideas. So I wanted to do something different to start 2012, especially since it is the 10th anniversary of the minimates we all love! I had this crazy idea to conduct a few interviews with some people involved with minimates and thanks to the wonders of modern tech and social networking I have some great interview guests! Today kicks off this string of interviews with Art Asylum legend and minimate co-creator Digger Mesch! Stay tuned over the next little while as I will interview others involved with their creation as well as people involved with the current keeping of the precious minimate palace!

Alright here is day four of my run of interviews, none other than Zach himself! Pay close attention to his answers...I am very curious what everyone thinks of what he says in the last one...

MY guesses (hopes)

Doctor Who

LOTR

DC Comics

Star Trek

C'mon Zach, tell me if even ONE of them is correct!!

"And don't get me started on vehicles or I'd never shut up."

Actually, Zach, I'd love to hear your wishlist on vehicles!!
