Mirymate
Okay, so Nova's head works for Madame Masque. But am I the only one who sees Morg's hairpiece and thinks it'll be perfect for the Red Ghost?

hellpop
Okay, so Nova's head works for Madame Masque. But am I the only one who sees Morg's hairpiece and thinks it'll be perfect for the Red Ghost? Thought of that too. Luke made a very nice Red Ghost custom not too long ago, with sculpted hair, and I remember thinking "I'll just wait until Morg comes out". BannersID
That hair piece is perfect for a Red Ghost. But the custom I keep seeing is the fella with the death orb from Phantasm you old timers know what I'm talking about side note, Punisher, your Hulk mod I'm guessing you just swapped the whole arm peg from torso to torso and the arm works like a normal 'mate arm. Can you put me in the know so I can steal that mod for my collection? Edited November 15, 2011 by BannersID
Mystery Man
Okay, so Nova's head works for Madame Masque. But am I the only one who sees Morg's hairpiece and thinks it'll be perfect for the Red Ghost? YES! I was thinking that too but had forgotten in the waiting time between seeing the figures preview pics and them being released. Oh man, I hope we get a Red Ghost! Prowlar
Has anyone attempted an Invisible Woman: Malice using Tarot as a base?
stack32
I made a slight modification to Crossbones so he was a little closer to his modern look: The arms come from Possessed Janosz.
dj87
Nice work stack... Did you do anything else? As long as people are willing to paint over tiny patches of flesh... Bd spirit might well be worth picking up loose from luke
stack32
The torso isn't pushed all the way down. I used one of the rings that made up the original Uncanny X-Force Wolverine's gloves to hold it up, but I'm sure it would stay if you just didn't push it down all the way. It's not a much extra height as a torso extender gives you, just enough to make the vest look a little better. No other changes.
TM2 Dinobot
Sorry about the photo dump. Some of these y'all have seen before in my custom thread. Others are too small of mods to ever have bothered. Here's my Spider Woman. Used an Athena hair, and wings off of Black Bolt. Not sure if I'm gona paint those or not. Two obvious ones. SI and Hydra Spider Woman Emma Frost. I am a great admirer of Metallica's work. Colossus(es) Phoenix Ms Marvel (starbuck hair) Black Widow II (Black Widow body, paint, and Six's head) Crossbones. I swear the belt matched the pants without the flash. it washes everything out and makes it look funky. Bullseye. I enjoy futting the faces and eyes out of slip over masks. Juggernaught. Before the Exiles box set. Astonishing Xmen Armor. Athena/Kitty Pryde. Red Skull w/ Cosmic Cube Cap w/ face cut out of mask Head stickers from Luke's Ghost Rider The Amazing Bag Man! (with something funky going on with his shoes that you can't see w/o the flash) JJJ and Gwen Ultimate Green Goblin w/ pants and fireball Hulk: "ARUGH! Hulk Naked! Hulk Run!" Spidey: "Oh jeeze. I'm gona have to catch him, aren't I?" I told you the flash washes out... uh... colors... I also like switching parts. A proper Gargan Venom T2 SWAT team members (That everyone seems to have forgotten about in the hub-ub about MAX) SM3 Venom's head Vulture Hydro Man Swarm! 1/2 of the Zombie FF Bulked up Rhino. Apparently w/ britches. I swear the colors match under normal lighting. I like zombies much more than ghosts. DC Minimates! Two Batgirls! innocent Mary Marvel An augmented Power Girl
Nessex
That green on phoenix is beautiful! Warbird / Ms Marvel looks heaps better with that hair too. Great colour choice on Vulture too, Edit: Oh man - and i love the F4 zombies too! Edit: AAAAH! That Power Girl is A+. (sorry about all the edits. i prolly shoulda looked at the whole post before replying each time. LOL)
TENIME_art
Those're the same hair swaps I did for my Ms. Marvel & Spider-Woman.
Mystery Man
I used the X-Force X-23 for my Spider-Woman and the Iron Man movie Pepper Potts for the Ms. Marvel.
hellpop
You might want to track down an Ultimate Hulk for your bulked-up Rhino. The greys don't quite match up, but you can make a pretty good figure with minimal effort.
TM2 Dinobot
I did him probably 4 or 5 years ago, along with Juggernaut. Those were the two figures I did as soon as the Powerhouse Chest pieces showed up. The belts came maybe a year later, hence the colors not matching. But honestly, I figure we're just a few waves out from another spidey wave (Yay! [/Fluttershy]) and a new Rhino, so I'm not gona bother. Good idea though. Swarm is still a bit of a wip, as I really want new boots and gloves for him.
BannersID
source art for Swarm shows "him" barefoot but he does wear gloves. I used sentinels classic look gloves the color match is close enough, I would like to "tatter up" the cloak and hood though as his is fairly ratty
Mystery Man
Go here to see a minor change I made to an existing Captain America 'mate that makes it 200% cooler: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=9802&view=findpost&p=208179
Turtle
That's a nice mod and makes a lot of sense. I'd love to see something like that become the norm on Minimates. I'm a big fan of the new glove cuff piece, and this just seems like the next logical step. Get it? Step... because it's his foot...
Mystery Man
Exactly! I think it's quite logical for DST to do. I understand them wanting to get their footing with other little mods, like the new gloves... but I think this'd be a good way for them to put their best foot forward in terms of playability. mtd20_2000
When I looked at Basilisk's head from the Age of X box set (with the mask removed), I thought of a quick Johnny Storm modification. Basically, Basilisk's head with any spare blonde Captain America hairpiece (I have too many to choose from) and a spare Mr. Fantastic body from the TRU series. Presto, easy Johnny Storm! Rheul
Sharon Carter: Agent 13 FC Emma, Iron Man movie Black Widow belt Starbuck hair and I dont know whose face that is.
Turtle
That face/hair combo works really well. I think the face might be from D'Anna Biers from the same BSG wave. Anyway, great QC.
hellpop
I really love that Black Widow belt; I don't think it's ever been used again.

Rheul
I really love that Black Widow belt; I don't think it's ever been used again. Yeah me too. I had to put it on backwards to get it on the proper leg and it still looks great. I should have picked up more BW's back when they were on clearance for three bucks.
