I've only been told it's not coming out this year, but I don't think that means there will be a 2013 release. And while I don;t know what our 2014 plans are, I don't think this will have any bearing on next year's releases, as long as the Toys R Us sets continue to sell well. Strictly from the greedy collector standpoint, I wouldn't mind if the line shifted to TRU exclusive 2-packs. These traditionally have been easier to find, and going with two-packs would make it easier to pick & pack characters. Filling an Invisible Man box set with characters people are interested in would be a challenge. Making an Invisible Man 2-pack, or even packing the Invisible Man with a different monster - easy. As far as I know, this set was not cancelled due to low orders or due to some shift in focus. It was delayed at the factory too long, and it missed its window. That's all. 'Classic' in Bhmese generally means that it may become 'desired/rare'...... I now spy one .......... 'classic' status is thrust upon it. The characters were initially going to be desirable without necessarily being rare ......things have changed. Now that the Mummy box set is delayed (at best ?) ,unlikely (at worst ?) ....... my advice is get one while you can .
