batmite's_mom Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 I live in Phoenix, and have been planning to take my son (a total & complete DC & Marvel MM-obsessed maniac at 4 1/2), and wondered if anyone had ever been to this particular event, and could give me some pointers on what to expect, etc. I've heard some of the larger ones you need to have an actual "plan" before just descending on the convention hall or you'll have info. overload and miss more than you would otherwise. Hubby was a big comic-book geek back in the day (and yes, we still have them all, in those little plastic sleeves!) but he's never been to any of the events, so he's no help Thought an inquiry here might be my best bet? I was also planning on going, until I realized it was on Rosh Hashanah weekend. I doubt it will be so large that you will need to make a plan.
