karamazov80
What company is doing that Shane? Looks awesome.
Shanester
Oh sorry, left that out. Kotobukiya. They claim it is 1/6th, but I think they use the same scale Medicom does sometimes. I really like what they have been doing in the last few years with the ArtFX line.
TM2 Dinobot
Just a quick FYI. I'm throwing this girl up on ebay tonight. If anyone here wants first crack, PM me. http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_010610a.htm
Hawkeye's Junk
Good luck on the AH! statue. I've been selling mine off slowly. Still have Black Canary and Powergirl.
Shanester
If anyone else is on the fence about the Koto Hulk statue, let me know. Luke can get them but they are cheaper if he gets two orders and I only need one!
Webhead
Shane how does he scale with Bowen hulks?
Shanester
Shane how does he scale with Bowen hulks? Well, they are both supposed to be 1/6th scale. I have the older Koto Hulk and he looks to be maybe about a half inch taller than one of my Bowen Hulks but its hard to tell for sure because he (Koto Hulk) is not standing straight up. OK, this pic doesn't help much because of the pose the Koto has, but I wanted to show it anyway. These two are side by side. If I stand Koto Hulk up on the ball of his foot and compensate for the Bowen Hulk base, he is about .5 inch taller than Bowen Hulk.

karamazov80
There is actually a sizable subgroup of statue collectors that seem into that sort of thing. This statue seems scratch built (Dino may know for sure :lol ), but many simply take a Sideshow statue, mod it into a "nude" version, then recast and sell it. TM2 Dinobot
Usually they just mod them. Can't say for sure on this one though, DC isn't my forte and I'm not really into the nude scene.
youbastards
MASSIVE! 30"H x 19"W x 15"D
Shanester
Yeah, with a $600 price tag, no EX and an open edition size (so far). I'll probably get him, but am in no hurry to PO.
karamazov80
If statues weren't so prone to being damaged in transit, I think I would sell all mine on eBay and be done with them. The novelty has worn off, and here I sit having already paid NRDs for Superman and Batman *sigh*
luke314pi
If I had the space for that Hulk, I would probably pick him up. They really did an awesome job on this one.
youbastards
Yeah, I've slowly been selling off my statues/Premium Formats. The only ones I am keeping are my Indiana Jones related statues and PFs. This is the only statue I have on order at the moment: Appropriately, all of my Indy statues are boxed up and in storage....
karamazov80
I sold my Raiders PF awhile back, though it was probably my dissatisfaction with the crummy paintwork more than anything else.
Hawkeye's Junk
Looks like I will be ordering that Planet hulk. I will have to buy another coffee table to sit it on.
groundhog7s
I've only got one statue outside of the Maximates, but when I saw that Hulk I think I might be adding that to my collection. I have no idea how or where I'll display it, but details like that can be figured out later.
youbastards
You finally got both Maximates, GH? Nice!
groundhog7s
I've actually had both for about a year. Someone here mentioned a comic shop they'd seen the Sentinel in so I tracked it down on-line, called them and they shipped it here. I did learn that you should never pay a shop over the phone and not nail down how much shipping will be. Their estimate was more than $10 off of what they ended up charging me. In the end, I still got a Sentinel for around %$6 or $70 if I remember right. Looking back at my last post, I still can't believe I'm considering buying something related to the Hulk where I need to use a payment plan. If it were Squirrel girl, I wouldn't even question the cost, but Hulk is just a little different.
karamazov80
I am shocked and confused that a collector on the order of Groundhog just recently got the MaxiMate statues. Based on what you've posted I assume you've got one of the top 5 or 10 largest Minimate collections in existence. groundhog7s
Yeah, I'm weird like that. And I never considered myself having that large of a collection, but I guess I probably do. I suppose I could have that in my obituary or something.
TM2 Dinobot
Not really a fan of PF, but this looks nice. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=3001681&utm_source=bronto&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image+-+http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sideshowtoy.com%2Fredirect%2F%3Fpage_id%3D4489%26sku%3D3001681&utm_content=Image+-+http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sideshowtoy.com%2Fredirect%2F%3Fpage_id%3D4489%26sku%3D3001681&utm_campaign=TM_BlackWidowPF_070613 I'd rather have Baroness though.
