I'm in my mid twenties now and only just remember him... thought you were a few years younger than that? I will be doing alot of thundercat customs for sure these being my ice breakers- I had such a blast putting these two togeather im already working out my next two!! That's the exact same formula I used to make my Dazzler custom, Except once the 90's X-Men came out I added Rogue's jacket to give her the X-Men Konami Arcade look! eclipse Posted December 14, 2010 Author Share Posted December 14, 2010 Tonight we have WATCHMEN Wave 5 1 Night owl movie version - he is basecoated and decaled on all four limbs,chest and face I wanted to make anew face for this one but after a couple diffrent busts I went with Bob harrises original design -Bob thank you for the original design it captures him just perfectly-His mask Oh man,it comes from the kubricks and i had to bore it out in my shop with my table vise and drill I only had one so to say the least every shave got cheacked (lol),his belt and cape also from the kubrick version just highly modified 2 shadowy intruder- my wife and i were watching it one night and my wife looked at me and said why dont you make Ozzy in his all black attire so thats how he got started and oddly enough i as putting parts for him in a bag long before the herclicks version hit then when i saw the heroclicks fersion it showed me he also had shoulder straps so im glad i waited on finnishing him.Thank you Glantern again for the Ozzy decal 3.Spaceman movie version- he is a villain that night owl 1 and the minutemen bring to justice you see him at the begining of the movie and when Hollis is being attacked by the knot tops.in the comic he only appers once and again its when the knot tops are attacking Hollis anyway he was fun to put togaether and paint.I love the colors of this guy i wish the camera picked up the brown stripe down his leg a little better but he has got a real earthy feal to him witch is ironic sinse he is the space man and all(lol) 4.Big Figure comic version- I had a utter good time plicing cutting and putting him togeather he is just decal work and alot of cutting in the end he turned out the way i was hoping for sure 5.MothMan.know he was tricky every belt is a decal and his wings are made to detach and made from scratch to plug into angels harness he comes with his mask i decided to go with the decal look so he didnt look to bulky.In the movie and comic he dosnt carry his revolver but in the dc heroes the only thing Alan moore and Dave Gibbins support as 100 percent candid he does so i decided at the last minute to give him one and if you dig around the net theres some black and white pics of mothman with his revolver as well Dave Gibbins insisted he was to carry it..i only have two minute men to go I cant wait to get my group shot!!!! 6. Comedian in the South Pacific- in the original run of comics there were inserts in the frot of the comics middle and end -little tidbits they threw in to enrich the watchmen world like hollis masons book- they added a couple chapters of under the hood and one of these little inserts was of the Comedian and his time in the South pacific and it shows a little pic of him whering his camo jacket and Hat with a pack of cigerets on one of his shoulder harnesses .I may go back and add the cigerets later but i knew I had to make him from that era -but I also wanted to spice it up with the flame thrower.the flame thrower is built from tie wire and the divers oxygen tank from the creature from lagoon and the flame thrower itself and fire accessory is from one of the new clone troopers you can get in the store right know of course again i had to cut it up and painted it but when i saw the fire attachments i got super excited to start building and tonight when i was taking the pictures I thought who could I burn istantly Wolverine popped in my head it gave me a huge smile what can say(lol)another thank you goes out to Bob for making such a kick a$$ decal!! so here they are wave 5 of my ongoing watchmen collection hope everyone likes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really like how the Comedian turned out - awsoem flamethrower-action! - and I also think movie NightOwl is fantastic! eclipse Posted January 4, 2011 Author Share Posted January 4, 2011 many months back i asked Luke to put together a few decals for me and and he did a beautiful job on them they include Ron,Hermione and Mad Eye Moody they can be found over at his minimate factory. tonight i present two of them on figures.Hermione im still working out so tonight we have Harry - Lukes original works all credit goes to him Voldemort- Lukes original works all credit goes to him Ron- Lukes decal work and a modified cape and alittl painting and VIOLA Mad Eye Moody- Lukes decal work and a little painting and here he is and his walking stick is made from scratch from a branch of my maple tree a twisty and some putty fore the skull on the top of his stick Lupin- I made his Decal and did a little painting and here he is!! Tonk's - I made her decals and modified blades trench coat and again some painting and she came right to life Im a huge order of the phoenix fan not the movie but the order its self not to say im a fan of the movie as well so imalready working out some more of the order.ill be sending some decals to luke fore his factory soon these two will be included if you want them for yourself- im extremely happy to see these come to life ive been itching to make them for a long while I always look forward to feedback-I hope everyone had a good holiday now to the best part the pics!!!
