WAVE 2

Night Owl - original minimate concept idea goes to Bob Harris who I look up to for insperation

I changed his belt and crafted the crecent to be removed

Twilight Lady - Labor of love i must say- her beehive hair and collar was a complete trick to get to

work togeather and the glasses of course all three from diffrent minimates to bring

the one and only Twilight Lady

Seymore- gotta have Seymore the fate of the whole watcmen universe gets put right into his

hands.His hair i refrenced all over the net and the comics and i was damb sure there

was a hint of orange in his hair but there isnt its brown

Dan Dreiberg- I went with the first one i thought of when he is out of his Owl suit thats how i

chose this look for Dan

Dollar Bill - I aim realy liking how the minutemen are turning out as minimates its like its ment to

be (lol)-when it came to dollar Bill his stars I chose not to put the ones on his legs

above his boots I tested by laying stars there and he looked a little to busy so no

no stars and his cape i went on mission impossible to try and find out what the

star layout was and in the end i gave up and mine gets 3

Knot Top Thug- Well what can I say there are alot of knot tops and I have to make itleast a few

a question was given to me about my knot tops and if im going to make some off

the comics as well and i say hell yes -the ones ive done are all from control art

from the movie

Wow, Eclipse. What a lot of fun to see these. You can tell how much you love Watchmen. Some of these I barely remember, but you know if they ever were made we'd all be buying them. It's especially fun seeing the Minutemen as they aren't always the first choices for people to customize. I can't wait to see your other characters... I'mvery jealous of your collection.

Wow! Another awesome installment. I think all look great, but i am particularly blown away by:

Dan Dreiberg - His decals look fantastic!

Twilight Lady - Great use of what looks like the black queens chest block & star sapphires colar.

Dollar Bill - He just looks perfect. I don't think AA could have done a better job on that character.

Awesome all around but my favorite is Dollar Bill! I also really like Dan and Night Owl although I think some muscle-detail on the torso block would make him look even better. Well done, sir.

Eclipse your minimates are so great! both the first ones and the newer ones. they are sick! out of the new ones I love, love your captain Axis mate. Its so cool and the comedian is really sweet too, love the alternate heads for rorschach too. Also the snake eyes is awesome too, and the abe sapien is one of my favorites as you know lol. keep up the great work!

I'm glad to have inspired you for Nite Owl and it's totally cool to see that recipe pop up thousands of miles away, looking just like mine. (And on some details even better!)

And good job on Dollar Bill! I really dig that design! When I did my three customs on Watchmen I had in mind to at least do all of the protagonists, but never finished with them. Yet? Yet!

O.K. Wave 3 A.K.A the yellow wave

Walter Kovacs- Gotta Have Walter and his sign all i can say is he was a complete blast to put

togeather- Hint there will be differant versions of walter for sure!!

Doug Roth- the one man who pushed dr manhattans buttons to exile himself to mars

Doug roth definatly leaves a impression and i had to have his michrophone

it was a must

Silk Spectre- Laurie Juspeczyk the one watchmen who realy didnt like adventuring-well this

custom was a pain in my a## to make this version of her is from themovie

I want to do boath of course- her hair was the real challenge trying to find a

minimate with long and straight hair love my dremmal (lol)

Knot Top member- I only made 3 total i did not want to get carried awy with them i realy wanted

each one to look differant so here is my third and final knot top (movie version)

Adrian Veidt - Thank you Glantern for his Decal it rocks - I realy wanted to release ozzy first but

im still working with him so for know everyone gets Adrian in his famus assanation

The Comedian (minutemen)- in my first release of him my face decal was a bit small and did not

relize it till it was to late so with a new decal and some touch ups

here he is again cleaned up

Alright Wave 4 Bare with me its a big post!!!!

it actually has 8 Characters in it a little bigger wave then the rest but hey i want to end round 1 with style so here we go

1 Silhouette - no decals needed to make her i hand painted her and went through a tone of faces until i came across this one and of all faces rouge the new one and i love how she turned out

2 Walter Kovacs- I had to make this version of him its iconic.Of course to do it the face decal to make was a real pain in my @ss but in the end it was worth it and for fun one version with blood one without anyway i hope everyone likes him as much as i liked making this one

3 Hooded Justice- he is actually one of my very first customs ever and one of my favrite charecters in the watchmen dont know why but i would hate to meet him in a ally if i was doing somthing wrong.In the watchmen universe he is also the first vigilante hero to go active

4 Dr Malcolm Long- he tryed to analyse walter and in the end was not ready fo what he learned.Walter ended up changing his point of views dramatically-I had to have the doc and the suit i chose is the one he had on the first time they met

5 Moloch- Moloch went through a cuople changes before you see the one here -this version is definatly inspired by the movie, his turbin was the real pain for me i tryed to make one from scratch all day one day and i just couldn't get it right in the end I went with the rocky two pack- adrians hat and put his pyrimad logo on it with putty and a toothpick, when i do the comic version ill have to make one from scratch to do it right but thats later.spock mirror figure makes for the perfect moloch face and you get the ears out of the deal as well (bonus)in the end i love how he turned out

6 Underboss- Had to have him.Bad guy with a flame thrower OH YEAH.Underboss is actually mentioned in the comic by walter to dr malcom long and in the new videogame is elaberated.you actually fight him with Rorschach and night owl.the flame thrower i used is from the 25th ann. gi joe line torches and his face and chest is all decal work his suit top is actually from the silence of the lambs box set clarices it just fit perfect and gave him a diffrent look having it flaired out

7 The Comedian - this is actually version 3 of him he is a very detailed figure and as i get better parts for him he gets upgrades witch im not against i dont do it regurally but if the part is good enough its a must

like his shoulder pads they come from the kubricks and they fit like a dream and it made him look that much better his new belt is from blade and holsters from black widow and his new legs also from black widow and boots x-force Wolverine, those are his new parts from my last comedian i put up

his mask what can i say it turned out perfect but i can not take credit for the art it came from here on the forums i saw it on some control art and i knew it was going to make a great mask but i cant remember who did it but i thank him or her- hopfully whoever it is reads this and i find out, i feel terrable not remembering i love giving credit where it is due- like the comedians face once again I thank BoB Harris for his awsome work

Conceptual art

1 Jimmy The Gimmick- in early production of the new watchmen videogame some pics hit the net one one of those pics was a early idea of jimmy underbosses go to goon and i based this version of him off that pic i wish i still had it i cant find it for the life of me anywhere on the net now.when i do round two of figures the final look of jimmy is much differant and i cant wait to make him later

2 screeming Skull- same concept as jimmy -found some fan made stuff and liked one of the versions i saw and created this minimate off that-in the comic you do see the screeming skull for a quick moment when Holice is getting beat down by the knot tops and i aim going to do my next one off that for sure but id love to dig up some still shots of the motion comic of the screeming skull scene if anyone could help id be so appreciative since i dont have the technoligy to take still shots of video

3 H(human) Bomb- early in Dave Gibbons work there is one picture of the first night owl abou to brawl with the H-Bomb and its in black and white-I let my wife pic the colors of the H-Bomb and I added the symbol on his chest it just seamed right but i also have a pic of the page of the book where it comes from with all the rest of these pics to see what the original drawing looked like

it comes from the book watching the watchmen the pic i found on the fan site watchmencomicmovie.com.I must sound like a broken record by know but i do like how he turned out and i think my wife picked the right colors but im excited to here back from everyone about him for sure

the scientist-round one would not be complete without them they were quick to put togeather and the clock is a decal that fits on stilt mans pad and behind all the plot in the watchmen there there ticking the clock forward

Note: I approached Luke to post my decals on minimate factory and he said he will im so excited for this im like a kid at a candy store waiting for it to open and boath walters are with what i sent him i figure i ask for alot of help from everyone here for there work(decals and custom mold and alot of how did you do that's) so its my pleasure to return the favor i think i gave him 20 to 30 diffrent decals total

I was going to wait untill tommarow to post these but heck i have to do it tonight its my favrite set of pics for sure its the full round 1 group shots it realy feels like the watchmen when you see all together!!!

got the new Jubilee and Bishop today and i just had to have some quick fun with them and my customs the mix between the two realy makes some good figures its all about the glasses and skarf what a diffrence the two make hope everyone likes

its been a littl while sinse i have done any updates due to no camera for a while and work got crazy this late summer,im getting started today with a few i worked on a few months back

Toxie- what can i say I had to have toxie (haha)

Freddy - he is the man he is a must-his shirt was a pain in my A$$ -i dont like decaling arms they get gooey and gummy but i wanted his stripes sharp-he also has a easter egg in his burned skin so look close I had to do it when i was drawing his burns

Michael - Thank you Luke again for the awsome Decal at the Factory

Eddie- The Trooper was inspired by a cubecraft I found and worked off it with more detal in his face and teath and blood he also has a somewhat easter egg on his chest badge the maiden insignia it just had to go there!!

Rambo Extreme - I watched the newest Rambo finally this late summer and it inspired me to make him but he has such a list of iconic outfits i picked these three for him and went with it

Conan- I have seen so many awsome Conans here in the multiverse I knew conan needed to be built but when i put on a arnie head it just didnt feel right so i looked around the forums and this head from Juggernaut has been used by so many around here and i see why ,while fiddling with him it was just the way to go for me
