The first wave seems to warm pegs pretty well, and the other TRU series have had waves released pretty close to one another. We've been waiting a looong time for the next wave. . . There's a full case of wave 1 on the pegs at my local TRU and I don't see them moving anytime soon unless everyone wants to army build Endoskeletons, T-1000s(police uniform), and SWAT officers. cdubya Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) Yeah, I don't think that there's any doubt that the boxset will see production (it would be a travesty for the line to be lacking 2 of the main characters). I do think (just based on what I've personally seen locally) that they will need to move quite a bit of the over-saturated Series 1 (or redistribute) to make room for a Series 2. I do still really want that exclusive set though. Perhaps holiday shopping will clear some space. Timing is everything, and sometimes "media tie-ins" can be a kiss-of-death. The luke-warm response to "Salvation" may done quite the contrary and doomed interest in Terminator related product, which would be a shame as the first two films are classics IMO. Half an aisle at my local TRU is full of the T: Salvation toys that nobody bought. In fairness, they are pretty crappy looking toys. Target was clearancing them out for just a couple bucks for the smaller ones, and $3.50 or so for the 12 inchers. I still passed. It's odd, I seem to be the only person who has seen the 'mates sell well in my area (or at least enough to hinder my Endoskeleton/SWAT army building). Also, cdubya what boxset are you talking about?
