With the coming of Blammoids! and re-reading some old trades, i realized how many wonderful characters for the DCU we never got. And thus this game is born. Basically, do what DCD did not; create a theme wave (or waveS) for the final Series (or SerieS) of DC Mates we never got. I think it would be very interesting to see what all of us crave to actually own. Also, if you want, create any exclusive (such as boxsets or promo figures) that you see fit for DCD to make, since they only ever made 1. I'll go first, then: DC Wave 9: Batman: The Battle for the Cowl Jason Todd Batman & The Black Mask Squire & Knight Huntress & Oracle VARIANT: Huntress & New Azrael DC Wave 9: New Krypton General Zod & Military Guild Superman Nightwing & Flamebird Supergirl & Superwoman VARIANT: Supergirl & Alura I have more, but i'll wait to post them. Quick edit: I know someone'll point iot out. Yeah, i did a variant line-up for mine. I always thought this was DCD's biggest flaw; no characters to be incredibly sought after or selling for a greater price. Besides, a lot had happened in DC in a year, hasn't it?? And maybe i don't want you to play, Tim. Maybe i wanna hog my DCs to myself. Imma go play in the corner...meanie. A full Batman wave is a must, obviously... covers all the definitive villains we should've gotten ages ago (new Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Raz Al Ghul, Scarecrow...) plus a cool black/gray-costumed Batman like from the animated series... And possibly my biggest dream pack ever, a Terry McGinnis Batman / Curare pack from Batman Beyond... heck, a full Batman Beyond wave would be the bee's knees for me: Inque, the Royal Flush gang, the Jokerz, future Mr. Freeze, Shriek, Derek "Blight" Powers, future Tim Drake-Joker , even Max (a civilian who actually looks wicked cool as a Minimate ) And need I mention the numerous Watchmen waves proposed earlier? God i would want Batman Beyond Minimates oh so much. Loved the show; Royal Flush Gang was incredible. Blackest Night would have sold a lot, if DCD had made it until now, and could have gone the Spidey 3 route and had 2 waves; or, at least, that's how i'd have done it (in DCD minus-variant style): Blackest Night Wave 1: Arisia & Sodam Yat Sinestro & Mongul Blue-and-Green Hal Jordan & Saint Walker Black Hand & Earth-2 Superman Blackest Night Wave 2: Soranik Natu & Kyle Rayner Red Lantern Lara & Atrocitus John Stewart & Fatality Larfleeze & Indigo This way we get all of the Green Lanterns we wanted, and a few extras, and key members of the other Corps. To stay in the vein of the completely random waves we saw, if we were to get only one more wave I'd want it to be this: Alan Scott GL/Black Adam Black Canary/Atom Beast Boy/Superboy Two-Face/Poison Ivy Yeah, I'd love lots more (except for the current Lantern stuff), but I'd rather see some teams finished out before newer related stuff. They've carried some DC Direct products in the past so it wouldn't be a stretch. Considering the gobs of Infitiy Heroes that are clogging the shelves, including that horribly overpriced Lex-Men giftset, I don't think TRU wants to hear about small DC figures anytime soon.
