THE_CRIPPLER
First off, how many of you that use decals also use a tablet to draw on? I use a mouse and it takes foreverr to get things looking just right. Also, where are you guys getting your sheet plastic from? I went to Michaels and another craft store and the people there had no idea what I was talking about, or what section in the store that I should look for it in. I found some plastic used to make patterns in the sewing section, but the plastic is really thin.

luke314pi
I think I bought some at a hobby shop once, but like skull buster said, I mostly use toy packaging.
antacost
I use PVC or Polystyrene sheets from my sign shop in a lot of instances. They're available in tons of colors and thicknesses... Stop in your local shop and see if they've got any scraps... There's a ton of waste in the industry. Plastruct also makes a sheet plastic that's sold in packs at hobby stores, but I think it seems a lot flimsier than the PVC or Polystyrene. It's also harder to glue, sand, etch, etc... Webhead
I use a mouse to design decals. In the beginning it took a long time, but now I'm pretty good at getting them done in a decent time.
