Trekker 42
Can I add another suggestion? House of M Hulk Inhuman Torch Iron Man It I know you're thinking "Oh, we already HAVE those characters!" Well: So they're pretty interesting variants. Esp. Inhuman Torch. I love that design. It's so cool looking. It and Hulk I can do without. Iron Man is pretty badass though. McDurg
Meh, I think we have enough Iron Men, Hulks, Torches, and Things to do without them. We can make much better use of this opportunity...... like New Thunderbolts.

Leroy
Nextwave needs to be a 5 peice set, Machine Man needs to be in there. "Death to the fleshies" Since we won't see any 5 mate box sets, I added your suggestion as a new box, Leroy. (I hesitantly replaced Elsa Bloodstone by Machine Man...) If Nextwave has to be a 4-pack, then I would say Machine Man would be the one who gets dropped. He makes a natural 2-pack with Jocasta - I can't think of any other character in Nextwave that would would as well as part of a 2-pack. Nice Idea Boyd, I never thought of that. Sunday works well Bob. and great job with the list of sets.
arnim zola
It might make sense to do a series of polls to determine the 4 figures that "we" think are most highly desirable while at the same time, not highly likely to be released in the next, say, 2-3 waves or box sets (not that I would presume that others would necessarily agree with the idea of the "Minimate collective vote"). Of course, it wouldn't hurt to also think about coherent sets that fit well together. In any case, I would guess that Hydra goon would nearly be a lock for a forthcoming set, given the new focus on 2 army-builders per case. But Kang is something that there is a lot of support for here, though he is by no means guaranteed. Maybe 3 B-list Avengers and Kang could work. Or 2 B-list "good guys" (like Black Knight and Jocasta, or Jack of Hearts) and 2 B-list "bad guys" (Kang [sorry, but he just isn't as well known as hordes of others] and Baron Zemo or Arnim Zola). You Are Speaking My LANGUAGE! Also, demogoblin, carrion, shriek, and doppleganger are NOT lame.
Bob Harris
... as for Young Avengers, I think you missed Speed and Stature. ... also, has anyone suggested Eternals as a boxset yet? ... also, since it's not on Bob's list I might as well suggest Dark Avengers (with a roster of Iron Patriot, Moonstone/Ms. Marvel, Noh-Varr and Ares since everybody else is too similar to previous releases already anyway) I added Dark Avngers. Eternals, can you give me a "rooster" for those? And for the Young Avengers, who do you want to substitute for Speed and Stature? Can I add another suggestion? House of M is added to the list. can you add this team New warriors (Wondra,Tempest,Black wing, and night trasher) Done. Works great!

NorthRaider
... as for Young Avengers, I think you missed Speed and Stature. ... also, has anyone suggested Eternals as a boxset yet? ... also, since it's not on Bob's list I might as well suggest Dark Avengers (with a roster of Iron Patriot, Moonstone/Ms. Marvel, Noh-Varr and Ares since everybody else is too similar to previous releases already anyway) I added Dark Avengers. Eternals, can you give me a "rooster" for those? And for the Young Avengers, who do you want to substitute for Speed and Stature? I'm not actually 100% on the most prominent members of the Eternals (been meaning to get the TPB of Gaiman's run on the series... *sigh* another one for the list), but if my guesses are correct then a roster has got to include Ikaris, Ajak, Sersi and maybe Thena and/or Makarri. (Feel free to correct me on this, anybody) Young Avengers... Iron Lad kinda isn't a member anymore ( I think he transferred his consciousness into Vision 2.0 now ) so I guess either Stature or Speed can replace him in the second roster listed. Maybe stick with Stature, poor Speedy doesn't seem to have much recall power among non-fans (him being a sort-of copy of Quicksilver anyway) Also, shouldn't a literal House of M lineup include "royal family" versions of Magneto, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Polaris? _________ EDIT: Just so we don't lose track of the task at hand... I see some interesting suggestions in there... Atlanteans, Ghost Rider, Shadow Initiative, Spiderman One More Day (), Heralds of Galactus, "Box of Madrox" (basically an all-Multiple Man set), Asgardians... Also, San Diego Comic-Con should be very interesting this year... (Perhaps we'll finally see Champions prototypes?) Stan Lee would be cool! uh bob im not sure yor aware of this but the beetles, the gen x,hog, hydra, and the illuminati and skrulls are suposed tobe seperate just checking OK. Since I'm not familiar with many of those I'm just adding to the list what people suggest. Or at least what I think those suggestions might look like as a four-mate-box-set as long it's not obvious. At least for me. If you want a specific box set, please give me the title and the exact names of each of those four characters (easiest way: title, char#1, char#2, char#3, char#4) the set should include. Everything else might lead to misconception since I'm not marvel.com. Sorry. No offense. Just tell me exactly what you want to be added to the list. MINI_MYTE
Okay... here's the last of my input. Seeing how Secret Wars is celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year, why not have a couple of Heroes and Villains minimate sets to commemerate the occassion. This would be a great chance to get some story specific characters, different costumed favorites and some characters in need of a "Do Over". Here are my picks: Secret Wars 25th anniversary heroes set 1: Wolverine (brown and orange) DST never got him right the first time around. Storm (mohawk) She-Hulk Human Torch or Johnny Storm (navy & white costume) Secret Wars 25th anniversary heroes set 2: Captain Marvel 2 (Monica Rambeau) Rogue Mr. Fantastic (navy& white costume) Spider-Man (absorbing the symbiote) Picture red & blue Spidey with black creeping up his arm, chest and half his face. Secret Wars 25th anniversary villains set 1: Kang The Enchantress Klaw Dr. Octopus (desperate need of a redo) Secret Wars 25th anniversary villains set 2: Molecule Man Absorbing Man (sculpted head with big brow and ears) Titania Lizard

NorthRaider
How about... Starjammers Corsair, Hepzibah, Raza Longknife, Ch'od OR (War of Kings lineup) updated Havok, Hound Rachel, Ch'od, Korvus A Deadpool-themed boxset might be cool too... all I can think of for now are Weasel, Bob the Hydra agent, Deadpool in a Marvel Girl costume ()... and since this is his boxset then maybe some random Deadpool variant with only marginal importance to his origins. (No wait, scratch that... make the 4th one his sometime love interest, DEATH!)
