NorthRaider
What would shock me? DC mates. A plastic, articulated Maximate Galactus and Sentinel. A set with Electro, Lizard, Vulture, Six-Armed Spidey, Morbius and Jackal. And another set with Kang, Falcon, Black Panther, and some other big choices of mine. Indy mates of Madman, Hellboy, Savage Dragon. An Inhumans set. Not just Black Bolt. The core family of 'em. Bring on Lockjaw!!! Maybe it's vehicles. Or light-up minimates like Luke makes. Or a relaunch of C3. Or a new mass-market expansion of the line. Or a new Chef Duff. Or a Rock Band set. Or a video game license. Argh, am thinking about this too hard. Still three days to go. Ah, but the reason I say movie mold is because we all saw that ebay auction. It should fit in somewhere at NYCC. I think he will be the hint for the next box set. Maybe a Legion of Monsters or Marvel Knights (team) box set if not Champions.

minimadman
I hope that there are 2 new boxsets. Spider-man Through the Ages and Wolverine Through the Ages. I don't know about you guys but I can't get enough of those characters. Although now you will all hate my guts if this comes to fruition. karamazov80
Hellraiser Cenobite Minimates would probably be the coolest thing in existence. Though it is hard for me to imagine how a Pinhead Minimate might work. . . Also, since there is some speculation about bringing back Minimates from the past that were never produced, I would say there is a good chance we get these, too: Who here wants to ask DST about the future of Street Fighter? murderofcrows
lets just hope it is a good shock and not a negative shock. I have written DC off the list. it just is not going to happen. We have been told no, to MOTU, GI Joe, etc. Mattel just wrapped up Ghostbusters through Matty Collector.... Not sure what could be left.... NorthRaider
karamazov's picture had me thinking of "Street Fighter", which got me thinking about "dead horse", which got me thinking about a horse minimate! Maybe all those cowboy minimates are finally getting those steeds they needed! Then again "dead horse" also got me thinking... Godfather minimates? (Oh, Street Fighter. Where art thou fanbase when thou needest... oh crap, I'm lousy at Shakespeare.)

Regarding your desire for a horse, however, a Minimate version is quite unnecessary. This works perfectly. http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...ost&p=75305 Edited February 4, 2009 by karamazov80
murderofcrows
OK Time for my serious prediction... whatever is announced, half of the people will not be happy because they didn't announce "their pick" the other half will lament an old property that is already cancelled. Now having said that Make Kang! moc847
drgnrbrn316
Most likely, you'll see the next 4 waves for Marvel ("Stop Begging For..." vol 1, Wolverine movie, "Stop Begging For..." vol 2, unknown wave 28) On top of that, you'll get a look at the Heroes/Villains box set. As a finale, maybe there will be the makings of another box set. Dark Reign/Avengers would make sense, but it could also be a lateral pass to War of Kings, a surprise throwback to Annihilation/Conquest, or a shot in the dark hitting some little represented team/franchise that is ripe for exploiting. On the other licenses, we know that DC is pretty much dead and DST has no say in it, so you can likely count that out. Terminator 2 was just announced, with the single packs, the first wave, and a likely box set, so I doubt they'll have a fourth iron in that fire until they see how the rest perform. Star Trek and BSG are all pretty much "on hold" so I doubt they'll be peddling the next in those lines, especially when they'll still be trying to make a sale of the current BSG stuff in the queue. Since the new licenses/extending current licenses comment likely blankets the entire DST production, you have to figure that there is a chance that we don't see any new Minimates outside of franchises that are not listed as "on hold", in other words, just Marvel and Terminator. Doubt we'd have any access to Kubrick horses here though. Also, I was just curious what a Minimate horse might look like. I keep imagining a 2.5/3 inch version of Muffit the Daggit for some reason... elhonez
It's the 25th Anniversary of Secret Wars this year. I would not be surprised to see an offering along these lines. We already know Hasbro's MU line is doing a tribute, as is their SHS line. I predict either a Secret Wars wave or box set.
NorthRaider
Not quite a horse but probably the finest custom I have ever seen  just how bored were you to make that???? Ooh, the Giraffe Charitymate! Forgot who customized him exactly, but seeing all those Things going into making him is pretty neat Maybe this can give you an idea: Odd, those don't look like Minimate legs That actually kinda reminds me of a Playmobil horse. I know there are maybe tons of those here, only Playmobil horses might be a tad too big for Minimates to ride on. Anyone got a comparison pic, by chance? Dan
G.I. Raffe was made, as was said for the Charitymates made by BHM himself.
