THE_CRIPPLER
I was just wondering if it ever explains in any of the comics how Gambit went from looking all evil looking when he became one of Apocalypse's horsemen to looking normal again. I don't recall seeing anything mentioned in any of the comics that I read. Edited July 23, 2008 by THE_CRIPPLER
vbpanizzi
I don't think they did explain it, at least not completely. They explained why he did it but not really how it got undone. I think it had something to do with him willing himself out of Apocolypse's thrawl(sp.). I will check on my next day off if no one has answered yet. Webhead
In an issue of Uncanny (I think), he only said that he "got better". Basically they just shit on that Apocalypse storyline, which is a shame cause I liked what they did with Gambit.

Gillbob316
Shortly before Messiah Complex they off-handedly implied that Mr. Sinister "cured" him, at his own request, after he and Sunfire joined the Marauders. They didn't go into great detail about it (why bother) but it's not outside the realm of believeablity, as Sinister and Apocalypse have worked with eachother alot in the past, and would naturally have some familiarity with one anothers work. I don't remember exactly what book it was implied in specifically. Most likely X-Men, Uncanny X-Men or Cable & Deadpool, because those were the books he 1st started popping back up in when Messiah Complex was kicking off. In any event it never actually "happened" on Panel. He just went into limbo as Death, and came back out as normal Gambit, giving that slight bit of explanation when he returned.
